An update has emerged on Adam Cole’s injury status, following Cole’s appearance at Sunday’s (April 21) Dynasty pay-per-view.
Cole’s Undisputed Kingdom teammate Roderick Strong was in action at the event, defending his International Championship against Kyle O’Reilly.
Despite Wardlow’s interference being shut down by the referee, Strong was still victorious, defeating O’Reilly via pinfall.
Adam Cole appeared during the post-match celebrations, initially in a wheelchair, before standing up to a big cheer from the crowd.
Dissension within the team was then teased, with Cole glaring at Wardlow behind the powerhouse’s back.
This has fuelled speculation about Wardlow potentially being Adam Cole’s return feud.
Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Adam Cole isn’t expected to return to the ring imminently.
Cole hasn’t wrestled since teaming with MJF to defend their ROH Tag Team Championship against Alex Reynolds & John Silver at All Out 2023 last September.
He suffered a major ankle injury after performing a dive during MJF’s AEW World Title match against Samoa Joe on the September 20, 2023 edition of Dynamite.
Cole was revealed to be the Devil who had been tormenting MJF at the December 2023 Worlds End pay-per-view, following MJF’s AEW World Championship loss to Samoa Joe.
Tony Khan has now addressed MJF’s status, which you can read more about right here.
