Following his shocking appearance at TNA Rebellion, former AEW star Mike Santana has explained his insight into signing with TNA Wrestling.

At TNA Rebellion 2024, Mike Santana made his return to the company for the first time in five years. He went on to defeat former TNA World Champion Steve Maclin.
Santana wrapped up his five year run in All Elite Wrestling in March 2024. On April 24, TNA confirmed that the former TNA Tag Team Champion had officially signed with the promotion.

Speaking to Darren Paltrowitz on the Paltrocast, Mike Santana was asked when the deal came together. He answered:
“Maybe a few weeks. As soon as I made it public that I left AEW, that phone rang. I was in talks with everyone.”
“My options were pretty much open. I knew that TNA was definitely a priority of mine and top of the list. The conversations went good and we got things together within a couple of weeks,”

Santana is set to face Myron Reed this Thursday on the April 25 episode of TNA IMPACT.
