An update has emerged on Jay Briscoe’s oldest daughter who was a passenger in the car accident that claimed the ROH star’s life.
Jay Briscoe, real name Jamin Pugh, passed away in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware on January 17 2023.
His daughters – Jayleigh, aged 9, and Grace, aged 12 – were admitted to the hospital and treated for injuries following the accident.
Jayleigh was officially released from hospital on February 2, but Grace remained there, and was moved to the rehab floor of the hospital so that she could focus more on physical therapy towards regaining use of her legs.
It has now been announced that Grace has been released from hospital to return home. She is expected to continue rehab therapy from home.
Grace’s mom Ashley Pugh has now shared a photo of her family on Facebook, writing:
Got all my babies back together♥️♥️♥️
A donation page has been opened by a friend of the Pugh family to support them and is listed as “the only campaign that has been approved by the family”, which has raised over $344,000 including many significant donations from top wrestling stars.
Ring of Honor released a T-shirt in memory of Jay Briscoe that can be ordered from this link with 100% of the proceeds going to the family.
Everyone at JJA Sport Studio continues to wish all the best to the entire Pugh family during this difficult time.
