AEW President Tony Khan has announced that an AEW star is out of action for the remainder of 2024 following last week’s Collision.
On last week’s AEW Collision show, Roderick Strong was victorious against Dalton Castle in a ROH World Championship number one contender’s match.
Strong’s victory earned him a match against Mark Briscoe for the ROH World Championship at next week’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.
During the match, it was reported that Strong legitimately knocked out Castle, and Tony Khan has now provided an unfortunate update on Castle’s status.
Taking to Twitter, Khan revealed that Dalton Castle suffered an injury during the match, with him set to be out of action for the remainder of 2024.
He wrote:
