A former WWE star has made their debut for Ring of Honor at tonight’s ROH tapings taking place in Arlington, Texas.
Over the past year, numerous names have left WWE due to being released and having their contracts expiring.
One name who left the company recently was the former Reggie and SCRYPTS (now competing under the name Sidney Akeem), when his contract expired back in June.
Sidney has competed primarily for GCW since his departure, but he has now made his debut for the Ring of Honor brand.
Per PWInsider, the former 24/7 Champion made his debut at tonight’s ROH television tapings, with his match set to air on an upcoming episode of ROH television on HonorClub.
Two more former WWE stars, Mason Madden and Mansoor of MxM Collection, recently signed with AEW/ROH, competing on the brand going forward.
They debuted in ROH but have since made appearances on AEW Collision as well.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates on the AEW/ROH status of Sidney Akeem if any more info does come to light.
