All Elite Wrestling presented a star-studded episode of AEW Dynamite on June 14.

AEW World Champion MJF faced Adam Cole in an eliminator match. Plus, Wardlow defended the TNT Championship against Jake Hager, and Skye Blue challenged Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Blackpool Combat Club battled Hangman Page and The Young Bucks.
The results are as follows:

AEW World Championship: MJF vs. Adam Cole
MJF and Cole get face-to-face and talk trash. They feel each other out, and the match is a statemate early on. Cole gains the upper hand, and MJF leaves the ring. He goes into the crowd and poses. MJF gets back in the ring and squares off with Cole again. The champion takes control and grounds Cole. Cole takes the fight to MJF. The match spills to the outside, and MJF gains the upper hand. MJF stomps on Cole’s hand on the steel steps. Back in the ring, MJF grounds Cole. Cole rallies, but MJF slams him for a two-count. Cole fires up and nails MJF with a superkick. MJF is bleeding from the mouth. Cole gets a two-count with a backstabber.
MJF ducks The Boom. MJF and Cole trade neckbreakers. Cole and MJF battle on the apron. MJF hits a Tombstone on the apron. Back in the ring, MJF continues to ground Cole. MJF and Cole trade blows. Cole blasts MJF with some kicks. MJF levels Cole with a lariat. Cole locks in a crossface, but MJF escapes. MJF traps Cole in an arm-bar, but Cole gets out of it and wrenches MJF in an ankle lock. MJF drops Cole with the Heat-Seeker for a two-count. MJF puts Cole on the table at ringside and hits an elbow drop through the table. Both men are down, but MJF eventually gets up. Cole narrowly avoids getting counted out. Cole rocks MJF and plants him with a German suplex on the apron. MJF stomps Cole’s arm. MJF shoves the referee, and Cole rolls him up for a two-count. Cole goes crashing into the referee. MJF gets his title belt and tosses it to Cole. He falls down, but the referee collapses, so he doesn’t see it. Cole hits MJF with the title and hits The Boom for a near fall. MJF falls down when Cole goes for another Boom. MJF hits Cole below the belt while he blocks the referee from seeing it. MJF puts the Dynamite Diamond Ring on, but the referee stops him.
Cole superkicks Cole and hits the Panama Sunrise and The Boom. Just as the referee is about to count the three, the bell rings. The match ends in a time-limit draw.
Result: Time-Limit Draw
Cole grabs a microphone and demands five more minutes. MJF stares at him before leaving the ring and walking away.

A video package hypes up CM Punk’s return. Punk says the only thing that’s certain about CM Punk is that nothing is certain. He says he has scores to settle and things to do. Punk says he won’t know what he will do or say until he has the microphone, but he has a lot to get off his chest.

In-Ring Segment: Sammy Guevara
Guebara says he’s had plenty of highs and lows in recent months. He says the goal remains the same, as he is determined to win the world title. Guevara states that he has to make some tough decisions and some changes. Darby Allin interrupts and says the people are starting to love Guevara again. He wonders if Sammy will stand on his own two feet or in Chris Jericho’s shadow. Jericho comes out and tells Allin to shut his mouth and mind his business. Jericho asks Guevara why he didn’t call him while he was chasing the world title. Jericho tells Guevara he made him a star. He says if Sammy asked for his help, he’d be the champion right now. Guevara wonders why Jericho didn’t call him, because he would have beaten Adam Cole if he did.
Jericho tells Guevara to apologize, and Sammy refuses. Jericho gets in his face and tells him to remember the hierarchy of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Allin says Jericho may call himself a wizard, but when he steps into the ring, the magic is gone. Jericho gets in Allin’s face and says he and Sammy will beat him up. Sting comes out. He and Jericho square off and hold their baseball bats to each other’s throats. Sting hits Jericho’s bat, and Jericho leaves.

IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA issued an open challenge for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2.

Darby Allin, Sting, Orange Cassidy, and Keith Lee vs. Mogul Embassy (Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)
The match quickly starts in a brawl. Sting and Allin double-team Strickland. Allin drops Strickland with a Code Red. Mogul Embassy isolates Allin and grounds him. The group gangs up on him and controls the action. Cassidy breaks up the pin after a powerbomb. Allin catches Swerve with a stunner and tags Keith Lee. Lee clears house with a flurry of offense. Lee catches Strickland and puts him on the top rope. The Mogul Embassy hits an assisted Swerve Stomp on Lee for a two-count. Cage slams Cassidy. Allin sends Cage to the outside.
The two teams brawl. Liona crushes Sting with a splash in the corner. Lee dumps Kaun to the outside. Lee slams Sting. Allin dives onto everyone at ringside. Sting takes the fight to Cage. Cassidy hits the Orange Punch, and Sting gets the win with the Scorpion Death Drop.
Winners: Darby Allin, Sting, Orange Cassidy, and Keith Lee

Backstage, The Gunns are asked about their relationship with Jay White. They dismiss the question and call themself the best tag team in AEW. They mock The Hardys and call themselves the best brother tag team in AEW. The duo challenges The Hardys to a match next week.

TNT Championship: Wardlow (c) (with Arn Anderson) vs. Jake Hager
Hager attacks Wardlow during his entrance. Hager takes the fight to Wardlow. Wardlow rallies and clotheslines Hager at ringside. Back in the ring, Wardlow controls the action. Hager gains the upper hand. Matt Menard and Angelo Parker come out. Brock Anderson helps fight them off. Wardlow vaults over the ropes and onto Hager at ringside. The champion hits a diving senton. Wardlow powerbombs Hager for the win.

Christian Cage and Luchasaurus appear on the video screen and answer Wardlow’s open challenge. Cage names AEW Collision as the place and reveals a bloodied Arn Anderson in the aftermath of an apparent attack.

Hiroshi Tanahashi appears in a video message and challenges MJF to a match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. In an interview, MJF shoots the match down, calls NJPW a “rinky-dink indie fed” and teases no-showing Forbidden Door.

In an interview, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy is asked about his future. He is confronted by NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr., who expresses his interest in facing Garcia. Garcia interrupts and says he wants to face Katsuyori Shibata. Cassidy challenges the two of them to a tag team match.

AEW Women’s World Champion: Toni Storm (with Ruby Soho) vs. Skye Blue
Blue takes the fight to Storm early on. Storm goes for a hip attack, but Blue hits the champion with one of her own. Storm spray-paints Blue’s mom at ringside. Blue dives onto Storm and Soho. Storm grounds Blue and controls the action. The challenger rallies with a flurry of offense. Blue spray-paints Storm when the referee isn’t looking. She slams Storm after spraying her with the spray-paint. Soho distracts Blue, and Skye superkicks her. Storm hits the Storm Zero for the win. Storm gets the submission win with a Sharpshooter-like hold.

Storm and Soho attack Blue after the match. Willow Nightingale makes the save.

Backstage, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry accepts SANADA’s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship open challenge. He says HOOK is his best friend, and it would mean the world to him if HOOK would have his back at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

A video package hypes up AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, specifically Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay vs. Kenny Omega.

In a vignette, Jay White, Juice Robinson, and FTR hype up their match on AEW Collision.

The Elite (Hangman Page and the Young Bucks) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta)
The match begins with a chaotic brawl, and bodies start flying. The teams fight around ringside. Page hits a shooting star press off the apron. Blackpool Combat Club isolates Nick Jackson and keeps him grounded. Moxley stops Nick from tagging out. Nick takes him down with a dropkick. Page tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. Page dives onto Castagnoli at ringside and keeps going with another dive onto Yuta. Hangman hits a diving clothesline on Yuta for a two count. Hangman and the Young Bucks keep rolling. Matt suplexes Yuta and sends Moxley for a ride too. Blackpool Combat Club takes control. The Young Bucks dish out superkicks, and Hangman pins Yuta with the Buckshot Lariat.

Blackpool Combat Club attacks The Elite after the match. Eddie Kingston comes down and tries to pull them apart. Konosuke Takeshita comes down and gets taken out. Kenny Omega comes down and brawls with Takeshita. The Elite gangs up on Takeshita and takes out the Blackpool Combat Club. Will Ospreay sneaks in and attacks Omega. Ospreay drops Omega with the Storm-Breaker.
