All Elite Wrestling delivered a star-studded show with the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.

A few days ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, both promotions were part of the show on Wednesday night. AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy teamed up with ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata to face NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr. and Daniel Garcia.
Plus, Bryan Danielson called out Kazuchika Okada, Kris Statlander defended the TBS Championship, and more.
The results are as follows:

The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) vs. The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn)
Matt Hardy and Austin Gunn kick off the bout. Matt gains the upper hand, and Jeff tags in. The Hardys double-team both Gunns. Jeff hits the Whisper in the Wind for a two count. Colten rocks Jeff with a cheap shot. Colten tags in and takes the fight to Jeff. Jeff rallies and tags Matt, who enters the match and clears house with a flurry of offense. Matt hits the Twist of Fate, but Colten puts Austin’s foot on the ropes. Colten attacks Matt when the referee isn’t looking. Colten tags in and drops Matt with a modified DDT, but Jeff breaks up the pin. Jeff fights the Gunns by himself. He drops Colten with a modified Twist of Fate. Juice Robinson and Jay White charge to the ring, and Hardy gets knocked off the top. The Gunns get the win with the 3:10 to Yuma.
Winners: The Gunns
White and Robinson attack The Hardys after the bell. Ricky Starks and FTR try to make the save, but they’re outnumbered until CM Punk gets involved. Punk helps clear the ring and says he’s not supposed to be there, as he’s a Collision guy. He challenges White and the Gunns to a match on AEW Collision.

Concession Stand Brawl: Mark Briscoe vs. Jeff Jarrett
As the name suggests, Briscoe and Jarrett quickly start fighting in the concessions area. Briscoe sends Jarrett through a table. They start using food as weapons, as Jarrett gets covered in mustard. Mark throws hot dogs at Jeff. A masked person, who turns out to be Karen Jarrett, blinds Mark with some sauce, and they unmask He perseveres and goes for a dive off a table. Sonjay Dutt shoves Mark off a ladder and sends him through a table. The match spills into the arena. Dutt continues to get involved, and Jay Lethal also attacks Mark. Lethal, Dutt, and Jarrett gang up on Briscoe. Papa Briscoe shows up and slams Lethal through a table.
Satnam Singh comes in and slams Mark Briscoe. Christipher Daniels and Best Friends come out and take the fight to Singh. The Lucha Brothers help take out Singh. Penta kicks Jarrett, and Briscoe pins him.
Winner: Mark Briscoe

Backstage, Konosuke Takeshita and Don Callis were standing by with Blackpool Combat Club. Jon Moxley says they have assembled an excellent team for Forbidden Door, and he challenges The Elite to a match at a AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Danielson says he’s going to prove that Kazuchika Okada is an amateur, and if he doesn’t show up tonight, he’ll show that he’s an amateur and a coward.

Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki & Sammy Guevara vs. AR Fox, Action Andretti & Darius Martin
Guevara and Andretti start the bout and feel each other out. Suzuki tags in and dishes out some stiff blows. Fox makes the tag and fires up with a flurry of offense. Guevara interferes and helps Jericho take control. Jericho and Guevara double-team Fox. Fox rallies, and Jericho initially stops him from tagging out, but Andretti tags in and squares off with Jericho. Andretti dives onto Guevara and takes Jericho down with a crossbody. He rocks Jericho with a dropkick. Suzuki locks in a choke, but Darius breaks it up. Suzuki blasts him with a shot to the face. Darius drops Suzuki with a kick. Guevara hits a double cutter. Fox sends Guevara to the outside with a kick. Fox takes Guevara out with a dive at ringside. Andretti drops Jericho with a springboard kick.
Martin tags in and takes Jericho down with a clothesline. The match breaks down as bodies are flying. Suzuki spikes Fox with a piledriver. Jericho takes Andretti down with a Codebreaker. Jericho traps Martin in the Liontamer and makes him tap out.
Winners: Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki & Sammy Guevara
Renee Paquette gets in the ring and asks Jericho about his confrontation with Sting last week. Jericho says it was a monumental moment, but he wasn’t excited, as he knows who Sting is. He says Sting is selfish, as he just shows up wherever the highest bidder is. Jericho calls Sting a whore. He challenges Sting and Darby Allin to find a partner for a trios match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Sting and Allin come out. Sting tells Jericho he looks forward to having some time with him in the ring, as they accept the headline. Allin says Jericho has made a lot of enemies, and they have their guy. Jericho asks who it is, and Allin says he’ll find out on Collision.

Tony Schiavone and RJ City start picking the names for the Blind Eliminator Tournament, but they don’t reveal who they are. Schiavone says the names will be revealed next week.

Backstage, The Elite (Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks) address Blackpool Combat Club’s challenge and tease that they have friends everywhere, as plenty of people hate the BCC. Eddie Kingston appears and says that while he doesn’t like The Elite or respect them, he hates Claudio Castagnoli more. With that said, he agrees to team up with them, but he says their final partner will be someone he picks.

In-Ring Segment: Adam Cole
Adam Cole discusses his match with MJF and gives “the devil” his due, as he calls it one of the toughest matches of his career. He notes that he did everything he could, but he didn’t win. However, MJF didn’t win either. Cole says that, to be the greatest AEW World Champion, MJF has to take on all comers. He says MJF has never beaten him. Cole calls out MJF, and he answers. MJF insults the crowd. MJF says the guy he used to study, “The Panama City Playboy,” came out to play for their match. He says he’s worried about Cole, as he has suffered a lot of blows to the head. MJF says he had Cole beat last week. As for the rematch, MJF says that, because he cares about Cole’s health, he has to say no. Cole challenges MJF to fight him then and there.
Tony Schiavone interrupts with an announcement, as he reveals that Cole and MJF were paired up in the Blind Eliminator Tournament. Hiroshi Tanahashi appears on the video screen and challenges MJF to show up for their match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. MJF starts to turn the challenge down again, and Cole implies that he’s a coward. Cole says that MJF must think Tanahashi is better than him. MJF says no one is better than him. Cole gets a “coward” chant going, and MJF finally accepts Tanahashi’s challenge for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The broadcast team announces the brackets for the Owen Hart Tournaments.

Orange Cassidy and Katsuyori Shibata vs. Zack Sabre Jr. And Daniel Garcia
Shibata and Sabre Jr. start the bout. They feel each other out and battle for positioning. Tensions rise, and both teams square off. Cassidy and Garcia clash as well before Shibata and Sabre Jr. tag back in. Cassidy and Garcia go back and forth. Cassidy drops Garcia with a dropkick. Sabre Jr. tags in and takes Cassidy down. Garcia and Sabre Jr. ground Cassidy and isolate him. Cassidy rallies, and Shibata tags in. He clears house and drops Garcia with a stiff shot. Shibata trades blows with Sabre Jr. Cassidy and Shibata do Cassidy’s “kicks”. Shibata and Cassidy fire up and drill their opponents with stiff strikes. Cassidy dives onto Sabre Jr. at ringside. Garcia locks Shibata in the Dragon-Tamer. Shibata reverses it into a heel hook. Sabre Jr. breaks it up. Cassidy spikes Sabre Jr. with a DDT. Cassidy accidentally hits Shibata with the Orange Punch, and Garcia gets the win.

A video package highlighted the feud between Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale. The broadcast team announced that Storm will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Nightingale at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie
Statlander and Valkyrie square off and feel each other out. Valkyrie catches Statlander with a stiff shot to the face. Statlander drops Valkyrie with a sweep and gets a two count with a leg drop. The champion hits a moonsault off the apron. Valkyrie gains the upper hand. She grounds Statlander and continues to gain momentum. Valkyrie slams Statlander for a two count. Statlander hits a superplex and slams Valkyrie for the win.

In-Ring Segment: Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston comes out and addresses aligning with The Elite. Jon Moxley comes out and says Kingston drew a line by fighting alongside them. Kingston says Moxley drew the line by joining up with Castagnoli. Tensions rise between them, and Kingston announces that Tomohiro Ishii is The Elite’s partner at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Blackpool Combat Club attacks Kingston and Ishii. Danielson says Okada won’t show up, but he comes to the ring and stares down Okada. Wheeler Ytuta attacks Okada. Okada fights back and takes Yuta out. Okada takes the fight to Danielson, but he escapes. The NJPW star drops Yuta with the Rainmaker.
