In-Ring Segment: TNT Christian Cage
Tony Schiavone interviews TNT Champion Christian Cage, who comes to the ring with Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne. Schiavone notes that Cage will have a title match on AEW Rampage tonight. Cage hypes up his match at AEW Full Gear and says Sting’s last match will be tomorrow, as he’s sick of looking at the legend. Cage says Darby Allin can give him a call if he needs some fatherly advice.
Cage warns Ric Flair that he will have his “Come to Jesus” moment if he gets in their way at Full Gear. Cage also says he’ll make Adam Copeland regret signing with AEW. He says Copeland came to AEW to steal his spotlight. Cage says they’re going to see which of their career paths served them better at AEW Full Gear. He vows to break Copeland’s neck on Saturday. Cage says he can beat all four potential contenders at the same time, so it doesn’t matter who wins the four-way later tonight. Cage says he doesn’t work within the system, as he is the system.
Backstage, AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill are asked about their match at AEW Full Gear. Starks announces that it will be a Ladder Match.
Miro vs. Daniel Garcia
Miro overpowers Garcia early on and overpowers him. He suplexes Garcia and continues to control the action. Miro drills Garcia with a lariat. Garcia tries to rally, but Miro slams him. Miro dumps Garcia to the floor. Back in the ring, Miro maintains the advantage. Garcia gains momentum with a chop block. He dropkicks Miro’s leg. Garcia keeps rolling with a flurry of offense. Miro blasts him with a kick.
Garcia slams Miro, and he’s seemingly on the verge of victory. Matt Menard comes out and distracts him. Miro accidentally knocks Menard off the apron. Garcia rolls him up for a near-fall. Garcia transitions from a crossface into a Sharpshooter. Miro powers out by slamming Garcia’s head to the mat. He kicks Garcia and locks in the Game Over. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Miro
Backstage, Andrade El Idolo is asked about his pairing with CJ Perry, which is off to a winning start. CJ Perry reveals that she entered him into the Continental Classic and negotiated his deal so that he will get more money if he wins.
The Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black & Brody King) vs. The Boys (Brandon & Brent)
Brent and Black start the bout. Black takes control. King and Brandon tag in. King slams Brandon to the mat. Brent grabs King’s leg. King sends Brandon crashing onto Brent at ringside. Black drills Brandon with a stiff blow. Black and King hit Dante’s Inferno for the win.

Winner Warns TNT Title Shot On AEW Rampage: Brian Cage (with Prince Nana) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo (with Alex Abrahantes) vs. Komander vs. Trent Beretta
The four competitors face off. Cage throws Komander. Penta and Beretta double-team cage, and Komander takes him down with a hurricanrana. Komander divses onto Cage at ringside. Penta and Beretta trade chops. Beretta drills him with a knee. Komander hits a springboard dropkick. Cage suplexes Komander to the outside, and they land on Beretta and Penta. Cage slams Beretta into the barricade and sends Penta into the barricade as well. He slams Komander and takes control.
Cage slams Trent. Penta kicks Cage. Komander and Penta double-team him. Komander rolls up Beretta for a two-count. Beretta hits Komander with a high-angle German suplex and drops Penta with two as well. Cage levels Beretta with a lariat.
Penta spikes Komander with a Destroyer. he drops Cage with a slingblade. Penta dives onto Cage. Komander dives onto Penta. Beretta hits Komander with the Storm Zero for the win.
Winner: Trent Beretta
Backstage, Don Callis and Powerhouse Hobbs talk about Hobbs slamming Paul Wight on AEW Dynamite. Callis claims Hobbs took Wight out. Hobbs ends the message by saying “anyone can get it.”
Wardlow vs. Evan Daniels
Wardlow charges his opponent and dominates him. He hits a powerbomb and a Swanton Bomb. The referee calls for the bell, and Wardlow is declared the winner via stoppage.
Winner: Wardlow
RUSH (with La Faccion Ingobernable) vs. Dax Harwood (with Cash Wheeler)
RUSH and Harwood trade blows early on. Harwood dodges a senton and takes RUSH down with a forearm. The match spills out of the ring. RUSH dumps Harwood onto the floor. He slams Harwood into the barricade multiple times. Back in the ring, Harwood and RUSH continue to duke it out. RUSH takes control and grounds Harwood. They brawl at ringside. RUSH slams Harwood into the steps. RUSH targets Harwood’s leg. Hardwood fires up. RUSH suplexes Harwood.
RUSH maintains the advantage. Harwood and RUSH keep going back and forth as they trade blows. RUSH confronts Ricky Starks on commentary and gets physical with him. Starks blindsides RUSH and drops him with a Spear. Big Bill attacks Harwood.
Result: No Contest
Cash Wheeler, Preston Vance, and Dralistico run to the ring, and the teams brawl. Malakai Black and Brody King get involved as well. The brawl breaks down into utter chaos, and security officials struggle to separate them.
Roderick Strong and The Kingdom confront Action Andretti. Strong names Andretti as his next victim.
Wheeler Yuta vs. Buddy Matthews
Yuta and Matthews feel each other out early on. The match is a stalemate in the early going. Matthews drills Yuta with a kick. Yuta and Matthews battle on the apron. Matthews sends Yuta crashing onto the broadcast table. He grounds Yuta and continues to control the action. Matthews drills Yuta with some stiff strikes. Yuta rallies with a shot to the face. They go back and forth. Yuta rolls Matthews up for a two-count. Yuta dumps Matthews with a German suplex. Wheeler slams Matthews and gets another two-count.
Yuta drills Matthews with a series of kicks. Matthews floors Yuta with a stomp for the win.
Winner: Buddy Matthews
Matthews gets a chair, but Claudio Castganoli makes the save. Castagnoli says Matthews has been pissing him off, and he wanted to make his challenge face-to-face. He challenges Matthews to face him at AEW Full Gear.
Ruby Soho & Saraya vs. Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander
Soho and Shida start the bout. Shida gains the upper hand. Statlander and Shida double-team Soho. Soho and Saraya take control. Shida takes the fight to the duo. Saraya grounds Shida, and The Outcasts continue to control the match. They isolate Shida and keep her isolated. Statlander tags in and rallies. She fires up with a flurry of offense and slams Soho. Soho gets distracted by Angelo Parker at ringside.
Shida and Saraya go back and forth. Shida blats Saraya with a knee. Saraya kicks Shida and slams her for a two count. Parker comforts Soho at ringside. Statlander takes him out. Shida pins Saraya for the win.
Winners: Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews AEW World Champion MJF. MJF says The Gunns are ugly, but they are very talented. He says he will do whatever it takes to win. As for Jay White, he says no one is on the level of The Devil.
MJF is asked about the likelihood of his lengthy title run, and he highlights some of the obstacles he has faced along the way. He says that the odds were slim to none, but he likes those odds.
