AEW delivered a star-studded show with the January 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Among other bouts, Sting and Darby Allin faced Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs. Plus, Claudio Castagnoli took Hangman Page. Elsewhere on the show, AEW World Champion Samoa Joe appeared.

Hangman Page vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Hangman Page takes the fight to Castagnoli. The match quickly spills to the outside. Castagnoli sends Page into the barricade and drills him with an uppercut. Page drills Castagnoli with some punches and gets him back in the ring. Castagnoli grounds Page and stomps him. Claudio continues to maintain the advantage. They trade blows. Claudio puts Hangman in the swing. He transitions into a Sharpshooter, but Hangman escapes and slams him.
They keep going back and forth. Page hits a Fallaway Slam. Hangman drips Claudio with a springboard clothesline and dives onto him at ringside. Page drinks some beer from a fan’s cup at ringside. Castagnoli presses Hangman over his head and slams him out of the ring. Claudio stomps Page again. Back in the ring, he continues to control the action. Page rallies, but Castagnoli rocks him with a big boot. They brawl up the ramp.
Page clotheslines Castagnoli over the ropes and back into the ring. Castagnoli gets a two-count with an uppercut. They trade blows. Hangman sends them over the ropes with a clothesline. Castagnoli catches a moonsault attempt and slams Page into the barricade. Page drops him with a DDT on the floor. Page hits a moonsault off the stage.
Back in the ring, Page gets a two-count with a Tombstone. Claudio sends Page face-first into the turnbuckles with a powerbomb. He hits an uppercut in the corner and drills Page with more. Page hits a hurricanrana and the Buckshot Lariat. A second Buckshot scores the win.

The broadcast team highlights the legacy of Mr. Brodie Lee.

Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Preston Vance & Dustin Rhodes vs. Brian Cage, Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) & Lance Archer
Dustin Rhodes and Toa Liona start the bout. Rhodes hits a powerslam. Liona drops him with a headbutt. Vance tags in, as does Brian Cage. Cage takes control, but Vance drills him with a kick. Copeland tags in and takes control. Cassidy and Copeland double-team. Kaun and Liona square off with Cassidy and overpower him. Cage, Liona, and Kaun take turns putting Cassidy in a vertical suplex. Archer tags in and continues to control the match. He drills Cassidy with a knee strike.
Jose the Assiatnt gets involved, and Jake Roberts drops him. Cassidy stuns Archer with a DDT. Vance tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. Rhodes takes Liona down with a tackle. Cage kicks Vance and slams Rhodes. Copeland drops Cage with the Impaler. Kaun slams Copeland. Cassidy drills Kaun with the Orange Punch and chokeslams him. Archer slams Cassidy. Liona drumps Vance with a Samoan drop. Cage and Archer have an argument, and Cage clotheslines his partner over the ropes. Copeland takes Cage down with a Spear. Vance pins Kaun to score the win.

Backstage, Jay White and The Gunns of Bullet Club Gold say anything the Undisputed Kingdom do, they can do better. They tease coming after gold. Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed interrupt, and Bowens says they would be unstoppable if they held all the gold. Caster says they’re the people’s choice, and it sounded like the people liked Bullet Club Gold too. Bowens pitches the “Bang Bang Scissor Gang” super faction. White says they need time to think.

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe Appears
AEW World Champion Samoa Joe comes to the ring with a newly designed AEW World Championship. He comments on his title win. Joe says they’re making changes to the championship-challenging protocol. He says people don’t have to complain on social media. Instead, contenders have to bring their record to the competition committee, and they have to make the decision. Joe says he’s waiting for anybody who wants to step.
Swerve Strickland comes out. He recalls telling Hangman Page that he wanted his spot, and he took it. Strickland says he wants the title, and he’s going to take it. Strickland gets in Joe’s
Hangman Page interrupts and looks back on the success he had in 2023. Hangman says he lost sight of the world title, but he will make it his in 2024. Swerve leaves. Page gets in Joe’s face and tells him he will take the world title.
HOOK interrupts once Hangman leaves. HOOK gets in Joe’s face, and they talk some trash. He seemingly challenges Joe to a match next week.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm. Mariah May asks her if she watched her debut. Storm says she didn’t watch it.

Ricky Starks vs. Sammy Guevara
Starks and Guevara feel each other out. Starks gains the upper hand. Guevara takes control and dives onto Starks with a moonsault at ringside. Back in the ring, Guevara chops Starks. They battle on the apron. Starks takes control again. Guevara rallies, and they battle back and forth. Guevara rocks Starks with a kick. Sammy knocks Starks off the top rope. Starks gets his boots up to block a dive. Starks gets a two-count with a powerbomb. Guevara goes for the GTH, but Starks counters. Guevara catches him with a kick and cradles him for the win.
Winner: Sammy Guevara
Guevara and Starks shake hands. Big Bill attacks Guevara from behind, and Starks joins in, but Chris Jericho makes the save. The two teams keep brawling as “Judas” continues to play.

Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale & Anna Jay vs. Skye Blue, Julia Hart, Saraya, & Ruby Soho (with Harley Cameron)
Jay and Soho start the bout. Jay takes control and tags Statlander. They double-team Soho. Willow tags in and gets in on the action, as does Thunder Rosa. Hart tags in and squares off with Rosa. Blue distracts Rosa, and Hart attacks her from behind. Rosa fires up with some strikes. Willow tags in and drills Soho with a lariat, Cameron shoves Willow off the top rope. Blue stomps Willow in the corner.
Hart and her tag team partners isolate Willow. Saraya maintains the advantage. Blue tags back in, but Willow rallies. Statlander fires up with a flurry of offense. All of the competitors entee the ring, and Statlander’s team hits a quadruple suplex. Willow drops Blue with a pounce. Bodies are flying as the match breaks down in chaos. Hart gets in Jay’s face.
They go back and forth. Blue kicks Jay. Jay locks in the Queen-slayer and gets the win.

ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta calls out Eddie Kingston and challenges him to a match.

Roderick Strong (with Undisputed Kingdom) vs. Bryan Keith
Strong and Keith battle for positioning. Keith drops Strong with a big boot. He lights Strong up with some chops. They trade blows. Strong slams Keith onto the apron. Back in the ring, Strong maintains the advantage with some strikes in the corner. They exchange strikes. Strong dumps Keith a back suplex. Keith rallies with a modified jaw-breaker. Keith gets a two-count with a pin attempt. Strong catches Keith with a stiff shot to the face and hits End of Heartache for the win.
Winner: Roderick Strong
Adam Cole and the Undisputed Kingdom enter the ring, and Cole makes it clear that they don’t care about earning people’s respect. Cole says the AEW International Title has Strong’s name on it. He hypes up ROH World Tag Team Champions Mike Bennett and Matt Taven and calls them one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Cole call Wardlow one of the most vicious men in AEW history. He promises that, when the time is right, “we” will win the world title. Cole tells the fans to say hello to their new kingdom, and get comfortable because they’re going to be there for a long time.

In an interview, Deonna Purrazzo comments on her debut and says her in-ring debut will be Saturday on AEW Collision. Red Velvet interrupts and challenges her to a match.

Tornado Tag Team Match: Sting & Darby Allin (with Ric Flair) vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs (with Don Callis)
The brawl begins right away. The fight spills to the outside and ventures throughout the arena. Allin dives onto Takeshita, who hits a rolling German suplex on the floor. Hobbs and Takeshita continue to control the action. Takeshita drills Allin with a knee strike. Hobbs drops Allin with a powerslam. Hobbs and Takeshita throw Hobbs across the ring. Sting rallies, but Takeshita takes him down with a knee strike.
Ric Flair gets in the ring and chops Hobbs. He pokes Hobbs in the eyes.
Sting takes the fight to Takeshira and clotheslines him out of the ring. Sting and Allin take control. They brawl up to the stage. Darby climbs up on top of the stage and dives onto Takeshita. Sting slams Hobbs through a table with a Scorpion Death Drop through a table and pins him for the win.
Winner: Sting and Darby Allin
Tony Schiavone interviews Sting, Allin, and Flair. He asks Sting who his opponent in his final match will be. The Young Bucks interrupt.
They stare down Allin and Sting as the show comes to an end.
