This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicks off with The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada arriving in one vehicle and Jack Perry arriving in another. They walk into the building united, but security arrives to try to keep Perry from entering. Matthew and Nicholas force the security to back down and say he is with them.

Back in Daily’s Place, Orange Cassidy’s music plays, and he’s tossed onto the stage by Trent Beretta. Beretta beats Cassidy down, gets in the ring, and calls out Chuck Taylor. Beretta says he apologizes to Taylor for not taking out Cassidy earlier.
Trent says when they brought Orange Cassidy into AEW, he was supposed to be their mascot, but they were turned into his lackeys. Beretta insists Cassidy doesn’t care about Taylor. Beretta tells Taylor to give the people what they want.
Taylor teases the hug and says that Beretta has always been a piece of shit and bashes him in the head with a microphone. Taylor says he knows AEW won’t clear him to compete, but he doesn’t want to face him in the ring… he wants him in the parking lot.

It’s announced that Kenny Omega will return next week on AEW Dynamite in Winnipeg. It wasn’t made clear if this was a one-off appearance due to it being in his hometown or if he’s back full-time.

Thunder Rosa is backstage. Rosa says she won’t stand here and complain about what happened, but she essentially blames Deonna Purrazzo for her loss to Toni Storm at Dynasty. This brings in Purrazzo, who tells Rosa to say it to her face, and the two get into a shouting and shoving match that is quickly broken up by security.

A video package plays highlighting the match between Will Opsreay and Bryan Danielson from AEW Dynasty.

Hathaway admits that when they first started this journey, he didn’t like her, and Nightingale says she didn’t like him either. But they’ve ended up becoming good friends. Nightingale says she started with AEW in Daily’s Place just trying to get an opportunity, and now she stands in front of everyone as the TBS Champion.
This brings out Mercedes Moné. Moné says for Jacksonville to say hello to her CEO. Nightingale says this is the fourth time that Moné has interrupted her, and this is her time now. Moné says she’s just out there to congratulate her on her title win and to inform her that she’s going to be the new TBS Champion at Double or Nothing.
Moné says while she’s out there, she wants to know if Willow was the one who attacked her a few weeks ago. The blame game is played, and multiple women are blamed, and nothing gets revealed. Nightingale says she wants to know if Moné blames her for injuring her in their match at New Japan last year.
Moné doesn’t come out and say it, but she pretty much confirms it. Nightingale says she admits she wondered if she could beat Moné at 100% and knows that her win over her has an asterisk on it. Nightingale says there was no asterisk on her win at Dynasty.
Moné says to enjoy it while it lasts because she’s taking that title at the pay-per-view. Moné tries to walk away, but Statlander grabs her to spin her around. Mercedes thinks it is Nightingale, and she slaps her. This turns into a pull-apart to end the segment.

Big Bill surprisingly comes to the ring to confront Chris Jericho. Bill says he only has one thing to say: he needs the guidance of the Learning Tree. Bill says Jericho is the Socrates of professional wrestling, always willing to give advice and lend a hand.
Big Bill says there’s a long line of guys in the back who want to be part of the Learning Tree, but there is nobody bigger and better a fit for it than him, and Jericho knows it. Jericho says he’s been watching Bill for a long time and that he’s one of the reasons Bill is here in AEW. Jericho says he’s going to keep his eye on Bill to see if what he’s saying is true.

Will Ospreay is backstage with Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher. Callis gives Ospreay grief about not using the Tiger Driver 91 tonight, Ospreay says he doesn’t want to use it anymore. Callis says he better use it on Roderick Strong; Fletcher tries to interrupt and assist Ospreay. But Callis buries him for losing his match tonight to Swerve and storms off to find Hobbs.

The rest of The Elite rush to the ring to check on Tony Khan. The Young Bucks tease hitting Khan with the EVP Trigger, but they pick him up and hit him with the TK (Meltzer) Driver instead! The Elite poses over a fallen Khan before being escorted out of the ring as Shad Khan and members of the roster come out to check on Tony as AEW Dynamite goes off the air.
