In-Ring Segment: Sami Zayn
Zayn welcomes the crowd to Monday Night Raw. The crowd roars as Zayn notes we are five days away from King and Queen of the Ring. He’ll be facing Chad Gable and Bronson Reed in a triple threat for his Intercontinental Championship. When asked why he would accept a triple threat match, Zayn noted that he has two different issues he needs to solve. A personal one with Gable and a business one with Reed. This is a fight between mind, body, and soul. He’s putting his money on soul every time.
That is why he beat the longest reigning IC champion of all time and why he’s leaving the PLE still the IC Champion. Chad Gable and The Alpha Academy inturupt. Gable says the problem here is he’s been too nice. He was too nice when he coached Zayn to the IC title, and Gable’s been too nice to these loser on the stage with him. Gable runs down every member of Alpha Academy, ending by calling Otis the biggest disappointment of them all.
Zayn says he’s got a question for the Alpha Academy: how long are you all going to put up with Gable’s crap. Gable says he knows what Zayn’s trying to do and it’s not going to work. He doesn’t have to pin Zayn to win the title, but he’s going to pin Zayn to win the title. Zayn notes that the PLE is a few days away, but they are scheduled to fight tonight. Zayn wants Gable right here, right now!

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable
Zayn lands a flurry of strikes. Zayn sends Gable into the ropes. Gable puts on the brakes. Zayn clotheslines Gable over the top. Otis and the rest of Alpha Academy help Gable up. Gable gets upset and pushes his student away. Otis is dispondant. After the break, Gable misses a diving headbutt. Gable reverses the blue thunder bomb with a t-bone suplex. Gable chokes Zayn and the ropes and distracts the referee.
While the Ref Bae has her back turned, Gable tells Maxxine Dupri to attack Zayn. Dupri hesitates… and she can’t do it. Gable yells at Dupri. Zayn unloads on Gable. Gables rolls out of the ring to escapes Zayn’s corner 10 punches. Zayn chases Gable. Gable uses Dupri as a shield and rolls back in the ring. Zayn rolls in and is met by stomps by Gable. Gable sets Zayn up on the bottom rope and distracts the referee again. Gable tells Tozawa to attack Zayn. Tozawa doesn’t do it. Gable tells Dupri and Tozawa to leave.
Dupri and Tozawa sheepishly walk away. While Gable is berating the pair, Zayn hits a blue thunder bomb for a near fall. Gable rolls out of the ring and ends up at Otis’ feet. The screen glitches and another QR code appears before we cut to commercial. After the break, Zayn and Gable trade German suplexes. Zayn gets a two count after a Michinoku Driver. Gable counters the Helluva Kick with an Ankle Lock.
Zayn gets to the ropes to break the hold. Gable sends Zayn out of the ring and yells for Otis to take care of Zayn. While Gable distracts the referee, Otis hesitates and doesn’t punch Zayn. Gable toss Zayn back into the ring. Gable yells at Otis and slaps hi in the face. Otis looks totally dejected. Gable brings the IC Title into the ring. Zayn suplexes Gable into the corner. Zayn sets up for the Helluva Kick. Otis hops up on the apron and clotheslines Zayn into the corner. Gable hits the Chaos Theory for the win!

Bron Breakker vs. Kale Dixon
The bell rings and Breakker isn’t happy. Breakker goes to the corner and complains to himself about this being beneath him. First he was left out of the King of the Ring and now this. Breakker turns around and Spears Dixon out of his boots. Breakker tosses Dixon out of the ring. Dixon is twitching. Breakker runs around the ring to build up speed and hits a Spear that actually does cut Dixon in half. Breakker sends Dixon back into the ring. The referee checks on Dixon. Dixon can’t continue. The referee calls off the match.
Winner- Bron Breakker
After the match, the referee helps Dixon up. Breakker runs the ropes several times and obliterates Dixon with another Spear. Breakker is about to hit Dixon with the ring steps. Referees and officials run to ringside to stop Breakker. Breakker drops the steps. Dixon ends up laying against steel ring steps. Breakker starts to leave, but he grabs a chair and smashes Dixon’s head against the ring steps. Adam Pearce comes to ring side. Breakker tells Pearce this is on him.

Queen of the Ring Semifinals Match: Iyo Sky w/Damage CTRL vs. Lyra Valkyria
Valkyria and Sky trade submission holds and quick pin attempts. Valkyria gets a near fall after a slingshot crossbody. Sky retreats to the corner. Valkyria tells Sky she was this close to pinning her. After the break, Sky is working over Valkyria’s injured back. Valkyria fires up and lands a fisherman’s buster. Sky kicks out. Sky plants Valkyria in the mat and lands a meteora for a near fall. Valkyria rolls Sky into swinging surfboard hold.
Sky escapes and locks Valkyria in a crossface. Valkyria escapes. Sky goes up for her finish. Valkyria pulls Sky off the top and tries a tornado DDT. Sky reverses it and stund Valkyria on the top rope. PK on the apron by Sky. Sky flattens Valkyria with an Asai moonsault. After the break, Sky goes up for her moonsault again. Valkyria cuts Sky off. Sky slips off Valkyria’s shoulder and hits a powerbomb. Sky misses the Over the Moonsault, but lands on her feet. Valkyria rolls up Sky for the win.

WWE Worl Tag Team Championship Match: The Awesome Truth (c) vs. The Judgement Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh)
During the match, Carlito runs down to the ring to distract R-Truth. Truth knocks Carlito off the apron and hits the Lie Detector on McDonagh. Carlito puts McDonagh’s foot on the bottom rope. Braun Strowman’s music hits and he runs down to ringside. Strowman chases McDonagh around the ring. McDonagh rolls in the ring and eats an Attitude Adjustment from Truth. Truth pins McDonagh.

In-Ring Segment: Becky Lynch
Lynch comes to the ring and is interrupted by Liv Morgan. Morgan point out that she is only here to complete the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. She barely cares about Lynch, and she has no beef with Damage CTRL, so why would she help Lynch? Lynch rants about Morgan taking 10 years to find purpose. Lynch wants to fight tonight. Morgan says why would she do that when they have a title matching five days.

Number One Contender’s Match: Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai) vs. Kitana Chance and Kayden Carter vs. Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler vs. Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri
The ring clears as a brawl breaks out. Nile lands a delayed suplex on Sane. Chance and Carter both dropkick nile to break the hold. Carter and Chance hita. Keg Stand outside of the ring on the field. Carter only gets a two count. After the break, The ring clears again. Dupri send Chance into the ring steps. Dupri is… excited by being bad. With a huge grin on her face, she hit the reverse Caterpiliar for a near fall. Dupri locks in an ankle lock. Sane lands an InSANE Elbow to break the hold. Stark launches Dupri into a leaping knee strike by Baszler. Stark pins Dupri.

King of the Ring Semifinals Match: Jey Uso vs. Gunther
Gunther drives Jey into the corner. Gunther lights Jey up with chops. Jey fires back with right hands. Jey unloads on Gunther in the corner. Gunther and Jey trade shots. Jey floors Gunther with a flurry of punched. Gunther rolls out of the ring. Jey lands a dive. After the break, Gunther sends Jey into the ring steps.. Gunther sends Jey into the barricade, shoulder first. Gunther works over Jey’s injured shoulder.
After the break, Gunther continues his assault on Jey’s shoulder. Jey goes up top. Gunther follows and locks Jey in a kimura. Jey reverses it into a Samoan drop off the second rope. Gunther kicks out. Jey tries to fire up. Gunther drops Jey with a chop. Jey and Gunther trade shots. Jey fires up and Gunther in the corner. Gunther surprises Jey with a Woo dropkick. Jey kicks out. Gunther locks Jey in an armbar. Jey tries a Spear and gets kick in the face.
Gunther lands a splash off the top. Jey kicks out. Gunther destroys Jey with a chop. Jey slaps Gunther. Gunther fires back with thunderous chop after chop. Gunther gets caught up with the referee and accidentally slaps him. Jey Spears Gunther and hits the Uso Splash. Jey lands on his injured arm. After a long crawl, Jey pins Gunther. Gunther kicks out. Gunther ground and pounds Jey and locks in rear naked choke. Jey Uso passes out!
