All Elite Wrestling is back again with another star-studded show with the July 12 episode of AEW Rampage.
Tonight, a High Flying 4-Way match will take place between Rey Fenix, Angelico, Komander, and AR Fox going at it. Elsewhere in the night, a Trios Grudge Match will see Shane Taylor Promotions going up against the trio of Action Andretti & Top Flight, as Shane Taylor Promotions tries to score a big win while also getting one over on their newfound rivals.
The House of Black will also compete against the Premier Athletes in a tag team match, while Roderick Strong will also compete tonight. Thunder Rosa and Rachael Ellering are also scheduled to compete in a singles match.
Match 1: Malakai Black & Brody King defeat Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari via pinfall
The opening match of the night saw Nese and Brody start things off with a bunch of chest slaps. Later in the match, Nese would get the upperhand by hitting a big 450 splash on Malakai for a near fall, which King then followed up with a crossbody splash outside of the ring to both Mark Sterling and Daivari.
Inside the ring, Malakai hit a brainbuster on Nese, and then ended things by hitting his finisher for the win.
Match 2: Roderick Strong defeats Ben Bishop via pinfall
Strong was getting thrown around the ring for a minute before getting involved, and pretty much immediately ended things with a quick rising knee strike.
Match 3: Rey Fenix defeats Komander, AR Fox, and Angelico via submission
In tonight’s High-Flying 4-Way match, Fenix walked out on top in what proved to be every bit as entertaining as its name would imply.
Late in the match, Fenix and Komander got into it, with Fenix shoving Komander off the top rope and into a moonsault of sorts onto Angelico outside of the ring. Fenix then hit a near fall on Fox, and then locked in a quick submission after a near fall for the win.
Backstage segment: The Learning Tree
The group was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette and spoke about their attack on Samoa Joe this week on AEW Dynamite. Jericho didn’t seem upset about it, saying bad things happen to people who won’t listen to the group, and that even more lessons would be learned next week on AEW Dynamite.
Match 4: Thunder Rosa defeats Rachael Ellering via submission
Ellering was trying her best to stay in the match from the very start, with Rosa’s powerful offense controlling things from the ring of the bell. Rosa hit Ellering with a big dropkick and a few stomps to the stomach, and then locked in a submission to force Ellering to tap out for the win.
After the match, Deonna Purrazzo ran in and ambushed Rosa. Ellering tried to help out and get things to stop, but Deonna hit a big move on Rosa and then left the ring.
Match 5: Shane Taylor Promotions defeat Top Flight & Action Andretti via pinfall
The final match of the night saw Shane Taylor Promotions score a big win against a group they have been feuding with for the past few weeks. Early in the match, Anthony Ogogo broke up a big pin attempt that nearly saw the group lose after Action Andretti hit a standing shooting star press.
In the end, Action hit a big lariat on Lee Moriarty, but then tried to turn and lift up Shane Taylor for a move. This allowed Taylor to hit a big punch on Andretti for the pin and win.
