In-Ring Segment: Seth “Freakin” Rollins
Rollins struts to the ring wearing a puffy-shouldered referee shirt. After welcoming the crowd to Monday Night Rollins, he reminds them that he will serve as the referee for the Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk match at SummerSlam. Rollins wants to give his referee directions to “those two idiots,” so he asks for both men to join him in the ring. Punk is out first, McIntyre last. McIntyre and Punk stare daggers at each other as Rollins stands between them. Rollins tells McIntyre and Punk that Raw GM Adam Pearce has announced that if they lay a finger on each other or Rollins tonight, the match at SummerSlam is off.
Punk rolls out of the ring. McIntyre tells Punk not to be scared; he has self-control. Punk says he isn’t afraid of McIntyre or Rollins. He fears what he will do, so Punk will sit at ringside. Rollins tells Punk if he wants this fight, he needs to get his ass back in Rollins’ ring. McIntyre tries to appeal to Rollins that Punk is the real enemy and to remember that on Saturday. Rollins reminds McIntyre that if there is anyone who hates Punk as much as McIntyre, it’s Rollins. But, if there was anyone who hated McIntyre as much as Punk does, it’s Rollins.
Rollins screams there is one rule at SummerSlam: what Rollins says goes. He will count to three when he feels like it. It’s all at the referee’s discretion. Rollins isn’t some referee they can push around, and if they try, he will put their head in the dirt. Punk gets in Rollins’ face. McIntyre tells Punk he’s focused on the wrong person. McIntyre tells Punk he hates him. He can’t go anywhere, not even the supermarket, without getting Punk’s stupid name shouted at him. McIntyre hurt Punk at the Royal Rumble by accident. What does Punk think will happen now that he’s trying?
This isn’t a wrestling match, McIntyre promises not to stop until Punk’s heart does. McIntyre gloats that he is about to get paid so much money to do something he would do for free. Punk tells McIntyre that hurting CM Punk was the best thing to happen to McIntyre’s career, and the worst thing was hurting CM Punk. McIntyre’s problem is he’s stupid. Punk exclaims he isn’t as big or fast as McIntyre, but he’s got heart. Punk’s got the people chanting his name. The crowd goes nuts. Punk asks McIntyre what he’s got. McIntyre holds up the bracelet with Punk’s wife and dog’s names. Punk gets in McIntyre’s face.
Otis and Tozawa w/Maxxine Dupri vs. The Creed Brothers w/Chad Gable
Julius lands a few strikes. Brutus joins in. Otis runs over both men with a double clothesline. Rocket launcher by Otis and Tozawa. Julius kicks out and deadlift suplexes Tozawa. Tozawa catches Brutus with a head kick, followed by a springboard dropkick. Suicide Dive by Tozawa. Tozawa tries a senton off the top, but Julius pulls Brutus out of the ring. Brutus clotheslines Tozawa. After the break, the Creeds hit a double suplex off the top for the win.
Winners- The Creed Bothers
After the match, The Creeds and Gable attack Otis. Dupri hops on Gable’s back. Gable flicks her away. Dupri steps up to Gable, ready for a fistfight. The lights dim, and three Wyatt Sicks enter the ring. For the first time, they unmask.
Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Rowan stand before Gable and the Creeds. Gable turns to run away, but Sister Abigail dives off the top and takes him out with a crossbody. The W6 leaves Julius and Brutus lying in the ring. Gable escapes up the ramp. Uncle Howdy appears on the stage. Gable runs through the crowd.
Sheamus vs. Bronson Reed
Reed and Sheamus trade strikes. Sheamus sends Reed over the top with a clothesline. Sheamus dives off the top and lands another clothesline. Reed surprises Sheamus with a release Samoan drop on the commentary desk. After the break, Sheamus calls for the Brogue Kick. Pete Dunne hops the barricade and hits Sheamus in the head with a shillelagh. Reed crushes Sheamus with a Tsunami for the win.
Winner- Bronson Reed
Jey Uso vs. Carlito
Jey eventually hits a Spear for the win.

Xavier Woods vs. Karrion Kross w/The Final Testament
Before the match starts, Kross grabs a mic and offers Woods a way out of the beating he is about to receive. Kross tells Woods to join the Final Testament tonight. Woods must also tell the kids at home that the power of positivity is a lie, and Woods needs to tell that one-armed bastard Kofi Kingston he doesn’t need him. Woods decks Kross and sends him over the top. Rope hanging dropkick by Woods. After the break, Woods misses the Limit Break Elbow after a distraction from Rezar. Kross hits the Final Prayer for the win.
Winner- Karrion Kross
Backstage, Sami Zayn says his match against Bron Breakker at SummerSlam isn’t about teaching a young guy to respect him. This time, it’s about beating Breakker’s ass. Tonight, Zayn is going to take care of Dominik Mysterio.
Sami Zayn vs. Dominik Mysterio
Dominik and Zayn trade strikes. Once Zayn gets the upper hand, Dominik rolls out of the ring. Zayn follows. After a chase, Dominik returns to the ring, just to be clotheslined over the top by Zayn. Zayn lands an Arabian press to the outside. After the break, Dominik is working over Zayn. Zayn fires up and sets up the Helluva Kick. JD McDonagh and Carlito hit the ringside area and distracted Zayn. Dominik rolls up Zayn. Zayn kicks out. Zayn hits a blue thunder bomb. Carlito and McDonagh attack Zayn, causing a disqualification.
Winner- Sami Zayn
Jey Uso makes the save, clearing the ring and hitting a dive. Bron Breakker tries a sneak attack. Zayn counters and sends Breakker into the corner with an exploder. Breakker rolls out to avoid getting his head kicked off of his shoulders. Zayn celebrates in the ring. Breakker rolls back in to try another Spear, but Zayn meets him with a big boot.
Lyra Valkyria, Kitana Chance, and Kayden Carter vs. Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville
Baszler and Stark double team Valkyria. Carter and Valkyria launch Chance into a Baszler. Valkria and co clear the ring. After the break, Carter gets a near fall after a slingshot leg drop. Baszler kicks out. Baszler avoids a charging Carter. Head kick by Baszler. Everyone lands a big move. Carter and Chance set up the After Party, Deville drags Carter out of the ring. Chance rolls up Stark. Stark kicks out and hits the Z360 for the win.
Winners- Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville
After the match, Damage CTRL hits the ring and takes out Deville, Baszler, and Stark.
Backstage, Dakota Kai says they are going to show Sonya Deville and her crew, who really runs Monday Night Raw. Kai issues a challenge to Deville for a match next week. Kai promises to cut the head off the snake.
In the clubhouse, Bálor tells Priest he’s going to soften up Gunther for him tonight. Priest asks Bálor if he’s sure he doesn’t want the rest of The Judgement Day with him tonight. Bálor notes that at SummerSlam both Priest and Ripley are going it alone, so he’ll do the same tonight. Bálor asks if they don’t think he can beat Gunther. Priest tells Bálor he knows he can, but he doesn’t trust Gunther to not try something stupid tonight. Bálor says he’s got this.
2024 King of the Ring Gunther vs. World Tag Team Champion Finn Bálor
Gunther and Bálor trade side headlocks. Gunther misses a chop in the corner. Bálor lands a chop of his own, which only angers Gunther. Gunther destroys Bálor with a chop. Bálor runs into a boot from Gunther. After the break, Gunther continues his assault. Gunther tries an avalanche back suplex. Bálor counters in midair and lands on top of Gunther. Bálor lands a flurry of strikes. Gunther tries a slam, but Bálor reverses it into a final cut. Gunther kicks out.
Bálor charges in, but Gunther traps him in a sleeper. Gunther tries to transition into a powerbomb, but Bálor reverses it into a DDT. Bálor hits the ropes and eats a lariat. Woo dropkick by Bálor. Bálor goes up top. Gunther avoids the Coup de Gras and locks in another sleeper. Powerbomb by Gunther. Bálor kicks out. Gunther goes back to the sleeper. Bálor starts to fade. Gunther drops down. Bálor passes out.
Winner- Gunther
After the match, Gunther laughs and locks Bálor in a rear naked choke. Damian Priest hits the ring. Gunther and Priest trade strikes. The fight spills out of the ring. Priest tosses Gunther over the commentary desk and all over the ringside area. Gunther tries to escape through the crowd, but Priest cuts him off.
