The full roster list added to the official WWE 2K24 website today (February 23) does not include Brock Lesnar or Vince McMahon.
On January 25, a lawsuit was filed hitting Vince McMahon with allegations of sexual trafficking, abuse and more.
Throughout the lawsuit, there were also several unnamed parties, including one who was referred to as “WWE Superstar” who was involved in the alleged situation.
WWE Superstar was described as someone who was a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and was negotiating with WWE at the time that alleged events occurred.
While it’s very important to express that Brock Lesnar was at no point named in the lawsuit, the Wall Street Journal reported that the person being referred to as WWE Superstar was Lesnar.
This reportedly led to WWE pulling Lesnar from creative plans, including the Royal Rumble match on January 27, and WrestleMania at the start of April.
There have been reports since the lawsuit that attempts have been made to remove both Lesnar and McMahon from WWE 2K24.
The official WWE 2K24 website now lists the full roster for the game (per the game’s official social media pages), and neither Lesnar or McMahon are present.
You can view the page with the full roster at this link.
Insider Gaming reports that Lesnar won’t be playable, but due to it being “too late” to remove him fully, he will still exist in the game’s files.
This means players skilled enough in modifying the game would likely be able to make him playable.
The report also noted that it is “possible he has minor inclusions within different game modes”.
As of this writing on Feburary 23, Lesnar is still listed as a current ‘Superstar’ on WWE.com’s official roster page – Vince McMahon’s profile on the same page was removed from public viewing on January 26, and deleted entirely on February 10.
