WWE Chief Content Officer has teased a new major storyline for Roman Reigns following his Undisputed Universal Title loss at WrestleMania 40.
Reigns was in action in both the WrestleMania Night One and Night Two main events. During Sunday’s main event, the Tribal Chief finally dropped his championship to Cody Rhodes after 1316 days as champion.
During the post-WrestleMania 40 press conference, Triple H took some time to praise Roman Reigns for his work over the past few years.
Believing that Roman Reigns’ next storyline will blow people’s minds, Triple H said:
“There’s few guys that come along in our business where you say, during that period of time that they were in it. They changed the industry. He changed the industry.
“I mean that in front of the camera, I mean that behind the camera, he’s changed the industry. He’s that good. I can’t say enough good stuff about him.
“Then to do what he did tonight with Cody Rhodes, it’s not completing the story. It’s just getting to the end of this chapter. Because he’s gonna go on a whole new story now that is going to blow people’s minds I think.
“I know he’s going to take it to a whole other level, but I can’t tell you how much respect I have for Roman Reigns.”
Roman Reigns made history with his WrestleMania 40 Night Two main event, with the Tribal Chief headlining his record ninth WrestleMania show, surpassing Hulk Hogan’s record of eight WrestleMania main events.
A star who’s rumored to be joining the WWE Bloodline faction has now taken to social media to share a cryptic message.
