14-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton has named who he believes could be the next big breakout star in the company.
20 years ago, it was Randy Orton in that position of the young talent on the rise, but now he’s the veteran looking at who could be the next version of himself.
Speaking in an interview with Adam Glyn, Orton listed three names, but honed in on one in particular.
The three names were Bron Breakker, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, with Theory being the one he singled out.
Orton said that Theory has the talent, a great look, and his mic skills are improving.
He also said that Theory is “way more mature” than Orton was at the same age, and has all the right priorities to make it big in WWE.
Randy Orton and Austin Theory have had one singles match against each other, which was in early March on SmackDown and was won by Orton.
Orton and Kevin Owens then beat Theory and Grayson Waller in a tag match the following week.
