Becky Lynch’s WWE contract has officially expired and she is reportedly now a free agent having not signed a new deal with the company.

It was widely reported in recent days that Lynch’s deal was up on June 1, 2024 – which is today.
Fightful Select has now confirmed that no extension or new deal was signed before the expiration, so as it stands, Becky Lynch is a free agent and is not currently signed to WWE.
The expectation within WWE is that Lynch won’t sign anywhere else right now, but with her being a free agent, other companies can officially make offers and that is very likely to happen.
People in the industry expect Lynch to receive the biggest contract offers of any woman in pro-wrestling history.

Fightful’s report noted that WWE sources said Lynch was “class” to deal with, and she communicated that she’s “taking time off”.
Previous reports had indicated that Lynch was initially supposed to take some time off right after WrestleMania, but when Rhea Ripley got injured, Lynch was brought back in.
This allowed Lynch to win the Women’s World Championship then drop it to Liv Morgan, which sets Morgan on a better path having beaten Lynch twice, rather than just having won the title in a battle royal or against less credible opponents than Lynch.

After her last match on Raw this past Monday, Becky Lynch tweeted “To be continued” and a photo of her walking out of the arena.
Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins recently re-signed with WWE as his contract was also coming up.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.
