An update on the current status of former WWE Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch after she recently became a free agent.
While there has already been development on the Chad Gable WWE contract front – with Gable confirming he’s re-signed with the company – there’s now an update on Becky Lynch.
According to PWInsider Elite (via Rajah) as of yesterday (June 14), Becky Lynch had not signed a new deal.
While she is technically a free agent, sources shared with PWInsider that WWE is under the belief that she is likely to return to the company once a new financial agreement is reached.
WWE has not yet removed Lynch from the current roster page on its official website despite her not currently being under contract.
In the same report, there was also an update on the status of Natalya.
While the WWE veteran has been a staple of the women’s division for over a decade, she too is coming up on the end of her contract.
Although she still has “some time” left on the current contract, sources also note that the two sides are still working towards an agreement.
Natalya continues to appear on the both WWE Raw and NXT, recently teasing a potential partnership with Sonya Deville.
She has been throwing back to a classic Owen Hart line, telling the camera directly multiple times of late: ‘Enough is enough and it’s time for a change’.
