WWE schedule change for the summer update

An update has emerged on WWE’s touring schedule for the summer, with the company cutting down the number of events taking place.

Per Dave Meltzer in a Wrestling Observer Daily Updates report, WWE has made significant cuts to the number of house shows taking place this summer.
Meltzer wrote:
“WWE has cut way back this summer on house shows as well as NXT shows. There are only a few main roster house shows this summer and only five NXT house shows this summer.”

WWE has several major shows lined up, starting with the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event on Saturday (July 6) in Toronto, Canada.
The following night, NXT will host its Heatwave premium live event, which will also take place at the Scotiabank Arena.

WWE SummerSlam will then take place on August 3, with the Biggest Party of the Summer emanating from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.
Following SummerSlam, WWE will visit Germany for Bash In Berlin On August 31.
