An interesting detail seems to have provided the latest hint regarding when WWE fans can expect to see a new debut in NXT from Japan.
As WWE NXT continues to pick up talent from other countries – most recently with the signing of former CMLL star Stephanie Vaquer – another international talent that has yet to debut could be popping up soon.
After reportedly signing with WWE back in April, Giulia has yet to appear in a WWE ring, but according to Rossy Ogawa, her commitments to the Japanese promotion Marigold are wrapping up.
Rossy Ogawa told Tokyo Sports:
“It’s true that Giulia doesn’t have that much time (in Japan). I’m not sure how many matches she has left, but it might be best to think of this as the last time you’ll see her at each venue.
“To be honest, I would like her to stay a little longer. Giulia has been like a leader both inside and outside the ring, so the question is who will take over from there.”
Giulia is expected to debut on the NXT brand in WWE although it remains unclear exactly when, past her being expected to travel to the US in August.
The next two weeks of WWE NXT programming will be on the SyFy Channel instead the USA Network, and are specials dubbed theNXT Great American Bash.
On night one on July 30, Roxanne Perez defend the NXT Women’s Championship against, as well as an in-ring concert from TNA Wrestling star, Joe Hendry.
