The potential return date for former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has been revealed amid his television absence.
Seth Rollins has not appeared on WWE television since the Raw show following SummerSlam, where he was blindsided by an attack from Big Bronson Reed.
Rollins had returned to Raw just a month earlier, facing off with Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money In The Bank, and serving as the special guest referee for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s match at SummerSlam.
Reed’s attack was the beginning of his ongoing series of attacks on WWE stars, including R-Truth, The Miz and Braun Strowman, in the build to the eventual clash with Rollins.
It is not currently known when Rollins will make his return, but we may have been given a hint in regards to a big announcement made today.
WWE officially announced the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event, set for December 14 in Long Island, New York.
Alongside the announcement, a poster for the show was also released, which featured Seth Rollins, seemingly confirming that he will be back at or before the show.
