Following the growing tension between The New Day, WWE Raw star Xavier Woods has defended his recent heel-like actions.
Over the past few weeks, The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been displaying some uncharacteristic dissension between one another on WWE Raw.
The two babyfaces have been disagreeing on decisions, while Woods has shown growing frustration with their failures as a unit.
On the September 23 edition of Monday Night Raw, Woods got into a disagreement with Rey Mysterio, which led to a match being set up between the two.
On September 29, Xavier Woods took to social media to defend his recent heel-like actions in promoting his bout against Rey Mysterio. He wrote:

Xavier Woods heel turn permitting, The New Day are on course to celebrate their 10-year anniversary this November.
