An update has emerged after continued concern that WWE may be entirely cancelling one of its shows.
Amid speculation that NXT Level Up was set to be cancelled, news from tonight’s actual NXT taping on The CW.
Ahead of the airing of the live show on The CW itself, new matches were taped for NXT Level Up as usual in the Performance Center, dispelling the notion that the show had been cancelled – it will be continuing on Peacock/WWE Network.
Tonight’s edition of WWE NXT marks the first since the move to The CW that will emanate from the WWE Performance Center where the show typically films, after week one in Chicago and week two in Missouri.
Elsewhere to open tonight’s show, Oba Femi spun the wheel to make a deal for Halloween Havoc whereby the stipulation for his rematch against Tony D’Angelo was revealed.
The pair will face off for the NXT North American Championship in a ‘Tables, Ladders and Scares match’.
