Drew McIntyre has reacted to the announcement that Randy Orton is returning to WWE at this weekend’s Survivor Series premium live event.

It was revealed on the November 20 edition of Raw that Orton will be the fifth member of Cody Rhodes’ team for the WarGames match on the November 25 show.
Orton will side with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to battle the team of Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Drew McIntyre.
The Scottish Warrior has now taken to social media to comment on Orton’s return.

Sharing a photo of him and Orton facing off, McIntyre tweeted:

Orton and McIntyre have history with one another, with The Viper ending McIntyre’s first WWE Championship reign at Hell in a Cell 2020.
McIntyre won the title back from Orton a month later in November 2020, with this win marking the beginning of McIntyre’s most recent world title reign.
Orton has been out of action for 18 months, with the popular star last wrestling on the May 20, 2022 edition of SmackDown, where he and Matt Riddle lost to The Usos in a WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship title unification bout.
