Major WWE star set for SmackDown

WWE has announced that a major WWE Raw star is set to appear on tonight’s SmackDown Tribute to the Troops show.

Tonight’s (December 8) episode of WWE SmackDown is set to be the annual Tribute to the Troops special episode, and features the return of CM Punk to the show for the first time in ten years.
owever, Punk isn’t going to be the only top WWE star to appear on tonight’s show, as WWE have now announced that Cody Rhodes is set to appear on the show.

It has not been announced what Cody will be doing on the show, just simply that he will be appearing.
Alongside Cody and Punk, the tournament to crown a new number one contender to Logan Paul’s United States Championship will begin on tonight’s show.

The first two tournament matches will pit Bobby Lashley against Karrion Kross and Santos Escobar against Dragon Lee.
Also set for the show is a tag team match, with Randy Orton teaming with LA Knight against the Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, as well as Charlotte Flair facing Asuka.
