Sting has made a major announcement on the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite.
On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Sting addressed the AEW fans and talked about his career that has spanned four decades.
The WWE Hall of Famer shouted out some of the legends that have helped throughout his career, including Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan.
The Stinger also brought up his previous retirement in 2015 and saying “the only thing sure about The Stinger is nothing is for sure.”
Sting then stated that his debut match in AEW was at Revolution 2021 and his final retirement match will be at Revolution 2024. The legend stated that this time his retirement will be “for sure.”
This huge announcement was greeted with mixed reaction from the fans who seemed sad to accept that the end of Sting’s legendary career is coming soon.
JJA Sport Studio will provide further updates on Sting’s retirement match when they become available.
"I started my very first match with #AEW was #AEWRevolution 2021, and my very last match will be #AEWRevolution 2024!"
