Samoa Joe, the new AEW World Champion, will make “exclusive comments” on the January 3 episode of Dynamite.

Having won the championship at AEW Worlds End on December 30, 2023, Joe has promised changes to the AEW World Championship.
Further stating that the “BS Gucci stuff” is “going in the garbage”, he promised a championship belt that is “designed well.”
It looks like we could be getting a glimpse into what this all looks like on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

As revealed by the AEW Twitter account:

In the wake of his loss at AEW Worlds End, MJF’s profile was also recently removed from the AEW roster page.
It was reported that MJF may require surgery on a shoulder injury although he is reportedly assessing his options.
Following Samoa Joe’s win, there had been speculation that the title change was a late decision, with Dave Meltzer clarifying that this was always the plan.
Since joining AEW via Ring of Honor in April 2022, Samoa Joe has been a two-time AEW TNT Champion.
