Ric Flair may be officially All Elite as announced today by AEW (November 2), but he’s now revealed if he think MJF will be headed to WWE.

Now that he has been officially announced as All Elite, Ric Flair has named MJF as one AEW star that he would like to work with.
In a chat with business partner Chad Bronstein from his WOOOOO Energy drink and Marc Raimondi from ESPN, Ric Flair shared more details about how his partnership with AEW came to be.
First noting that WWE had passed on the offer to get involved in the drink, saying it was “no disrespect,” rather due to the merger they weren’t really in a place to pursue a partnership.

Flair said that then he pitched the collab idea to Tony Khan who was able to get on the phone with “brains behind the operation,” Bronstein, and now WOOOOO Energy is the official energy drink of AEW.
After listing Sting, mentioning wanting to manage Andrade el Idolo (his real life son-in-law), Flair also named AEW World Champion, MJF.

Ric Flair said:
“One thing I want to do, I want to be a heel and have a conversation with MJF.
“Promo battle, yeah. Let’s see what you’ve got kid [laughs].
“I’m telling you, he’s spot on. I mean, I don’t think Tony has to worry about him leaving because he sounds like he’s a very sincere, honest person.
“I don’t know, I think only met him one time but I look forward to that opportunity.
“He’s a very, very talented guy.”

Flair would go on to say that one thing he doesn’t like is on-going ‘will they, won’t they’ contract signing rumors that spring up about talent since it can detract from the great work they’re currently doing.
Joking about a recent instance where he read that Rey Mysterio may be retiring, Flair said he asked ‘Hunter’ if it was true, with Triple H reportedly responding by asking him, “What are you doing, reading the dirtsheets?”
