An update has emerged on current ROH Pure Champion and AEW star Wheeler Yuta, who has been out of action for four months.

Despite currently holding the ROH Pure Championship, AEW’s Wheeler Yuta hasn’t wrestled since January.
With the Blackpool Combat Club member missing several big matches for his faction, including the group’s CMLL visit in March, some fans have shown concern for Yuta during his AEW absence.
Per Fightful Select, Yuta has been dealing with concussion symptoms for months.

While the report noted that Fightful hasn’t learned a timetable for Yuta’s in-ring return, it was noted that when they spoke with Yuta in March, he was hopeful that the injury wouldn’t keep him out of action for long.
Yuta last wrestled on the January 12 edition of AEW Rampage (taped January 10), unsuccessfully challenging for Eddie Kingston’s Triple Crown Championship.
He most recently defended his ROH Pure Title on the previous week’s Rampage episode, against Komander.

We will continue to provide updates on Yuta’s status as they become available.
We wish Wheeler Yuta a safe and healthy recovery.
