Following their recent partnership, a new report has provided a backstage update on the WWE and TNA Wrestling relationship.

At NXT Battleground, Roxanne Perez defeated TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.
After this premium live event, TNA Wrestling stars Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian appeared in the 25-man NXT Championship number one contender’s battle royal on the June 18 episode. Meanwhile, NXT star Tatum Paxley answered Grace’s open challenge for the TNA Knockouts Title at Against All Odds.

As previously reported, NXT stars Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, Tavion Heights and Izzi Dame all appeared during the June 28 and 29 TNA IMPACT TV tapings.
Per PWInsider, the NXT connection are set to continue at the Slammiversary pay-per-view on Saturday, July 20.

When asked about the idea of Wes Lee reuniting with The Rascalz, a WWE source stated that “nothing is off the table” as the two sides continue to build their relationship.
Also worth note, TNA Wrestling was very happy with their attendance at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on June 28 and 29. The company sold out their Saturday taping, attributed to the Hardys and the infusion of interest from the WWE NXT connection.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on the WWE and TNA Wrestling relationship when they become available.
