WWE will deliver a star-studded episode of WWE SmackDown on October 20.

IYO SKY will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. Plus, Logan Paul will have a face-to-face with WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio. John Cena is also scheduled to appear.
The results are as follows:

In-Ring Segment: Paul Heyman
Paul Heyman is in the ring, as he opens the show. He brings up Jimmy Uso costing Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Heyman says Jimmy called the play. He also brings up the news that Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight at WWE Crown Jewel. He says he’s a huge admirer of LA Knight, and fans must watch Crown Jewel because it will be the last time they will see Knight in the ring. Heyman says Knight will get smashed at WWE Crown Jewel. Knight interrupts Heyman and calls out Roman Reigns.
Knight responds to Heyman and tells him to repeat what Reigns will do to him. Heyman backs down and tries to leave. Knight threatens to hit him so hard his hair will turn gray again. He says he won’t stop until he owns Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Knight says Reigns should be scared, as Reigns has never faced anyone like him before. He hypes up his contract signing with Roman Reigns next week.

Backstage, Bobby Lashley and Angelo Dawkins get Montez Ford ready for his match against Santos Escobar.

Santos Escobar (with LWO) vs. Montez Ford (with Angelo Dawkins)
Ford and Escobar lock up and feel each other out. Ford gains the upper hand as he grounds Escobar. He catches Escobar with a dropkick. A running splash earns Ford a two-count. Escobar fires back with some kicks. Ford sends him to the outside with a kick of his own. After a commercial, Ford maintains the advantage. Ford dives onto Escobar with a modified bulldog and gets a two count. Escobar drops Ford with some shoulder blocks.
Escobar rocks Ford with a superkick and dives onto him at ringside. He gets a two-count with a crossbody. Escobar hits double knees in the corner. Ford drills Escobar with a kick. Escobar responds with a kick and hits an avalanche hurricanrana.
Dawkins pulls Ford out of the ring. When the referee isn’t looking, Dawkins shoves Escobar into the ring post. Escobar drops Dawkins. Ford rolls Escobar up and pulls on his tights to clinch the win.
Winner: Montez Ford
Dawkins and Ford attack Escobar after the bell. Carlito makes the save.

Bayley and IYO SKY hype IYO SKY up ahead of her title match.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio thanks Carlito for having Escobar’s back. Zelina Vega asks Mysterio if he wants them to come to the ring with him. He says he’ll handle it himself.

Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) are shown at a spa, as they celebrate their successful return to the ring. The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) attack them.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso brags about costing Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes the tag team titles.

In-Ring Segment: John Cena
John Cena comes out and says the crowd is fired up, so he’s fired up too. He says he got hit with some hard truths today. Cena brings up Roman Reigns’ impressive title reign. He says he has a streak of his own. He says his streak is 2,002 days; it has been 2,002 days since he last won a televised singles match. Cena admits that he has been talking a lot about retirement, and it’s time to face facts. He says it’s been a long time since he’s had a win, but he believes in himself.
Cena says he believes he can still go, and it’s time to turn it around. He makes it clear that it will be a bad night for the next person to walk through the curtain.
Solo Sikoa comes out and stares Cena down. They brawl, and Jimmy Uso attacks Cena. A masked man runs in and attacks Jimmy Uso. He reveals himself to be Jey Uso. They brawl, and security officials separate them.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn targeted WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a vignette.

Security officials bring Jey Uso to Nick Aldis’ office. Aldis says Jey has been fined $10,000. Adam Pearce says he will escort Jey out. Aldis asks security to escort both men out of the building. Pearce says, “Let the games begin.”

In-Ring Segment: Logan Paul
Logan Paul says he beat the daylights out of a “scumbag” in reference to his fight against Dillon Danis. He says he should have known he could have just had another WWE match if he wanted real competition. Paul says he’s not here for Rey Mysterio, as he already beat him at WrestleMania 38. He describes how much has changed since then, as he notes that back then, Roman Reigns still showed up, Dominik was still Rey’s son, and LA Knight didn’t have a job.
Paul says that Rey does have something he needs, and that’s the United States Championship and legacy. He says he’ll beat another “deadbeat dad” at WWE Crown Jewel. Mysterio comes out and says Paul reminds him of Dominik. He noted that Paul has passion, an incredible career ahead of him, and a big mouth, just like Dominik. Rey says he won’t hesitate to whoop Paul’s ass, and he’ll give him a match at WWE Crown Jewel. They shake hands, and Paul walks away.

Grayson Waller & Austin Theory vs. Dragon Lee & Cameron Grimes
Dragon Lee and Austin Theory start the bout. Lee takes Theory down with a hurricanrana. Waller gains the upper hand, but Grimes tags in and double-teams him with Lee. Grimes rocks Theory with a kick. He slams Waller into the ring post. Lee and Grimes slam Theory into the ring post. Waller and Theory briefly take control. Grimes makes the hot tag and dives onto Theory and Waller with a crossbody. He dumps Theory with a German suplex.
Lee drills Waller with a kick and dives onto him at ringside. Grimes drops Theory with a Spanish Fly for a two-count. Waller sends Lee into the timekeeper’s area. Waller runs in and drops Grimes. Theory pins Grimes with the A-Town Down.
Winners: Austin Theory and Grayson Waller

In an interview, Kevin Owens discusses his move to SmackDown. He says it doesn’t feel great for his team with Sami Zayn to end like this. He says he’s happy to be back on SmackDown, and he feels like it’s a clean slate. Owens says he’ll cross paths with The Bloodline, and he wants to face Rey Mysterio for the first time. He also says that no matter where he is, he tries to make sure everyone knows it’s the Kevin Owens Show.

WWE Women’s Championship: IYO SKY (c) (with Bayley and Dakota Kai) vs. Charlotte Flair
Flair quickly gains the upper hand, sending SKY to the outside. Flair remains in control after a commercial. Bayley grabs Charlotte, and IYO drops her with a kick. The champion dives onto Flair at ringside. SKY grounds Flair, but Flair slams her. SKY hits Flair with some kicks. SKY sends Flair crashing over the ropes and onto the floor. Flair counters a hurricanrana and slams SKY onto the apron. SKY hits a sit-out powerbomb and double knees in the corner. She traps Flair in a submission hold. Flair dumps SKY with a wheelbarrow suplex.
Flair chops SKY and slams her. “The Queen” catches a diving SKY and heads to the top rope. She hits an avalanche fallaway slam for a two count. Flair traps SKY in a double-leg Boston crab. Flair blocks SKY’s moonsault and hits a Spear. Bayley puts SKY’s foot on the ropes to stop the pin.
Flair attacks Bayley at ringside. She sends Bayley over the announce table. SKY hits Flair with the championship when the referee isn’t looking and pins her for the win.
Winner and still WWE Women’s Champion: IYO SKY
SKY and Bayley attack Flair after the bell. Bianca Belair makes her return as she makes the save. She goes for a KOD on SKY. Bayley stops her, so Belair drops her with a KOD instead.
Belair helps Flair up, and they stand tall.
