A WWE star has called for a best of five series of matches with his rival following a well received recent bout.

In what was a rare occurrence, WWE star Cedric Alexander not only received a video package on this past Friday’s SmackDown (October 28) but also a televised match, facing off against the brand’s newest star Dragon Lee.
Despite a lack of heat heading into the match, the two put on a great showing in just over eight minutes of action, with Lee securing his second singles win since moving from NXT.
While respect was shown by Alexander to Lee after the match ended, it seems as if the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion wasn’t quite satisfied with the result.

Taking to Twitter afterwards, Alexander retweeted a clip of the match along with the caption:

Following the WWE release of Alexander’s long-term tag team partner Shelton Benjamin on September 21, the 34-year-old has appeared on both Raw and SmackDown in singles action, with his ‘free agent’ status affording him the right to do so.
Although, perhaps if Alexander gets his wish he may soon find some needed direction on the blue brand in some healthy competition with Lee.
