Dominik Mysterio wasn’t the only WWE star to have signed a new contract recently, with his father, Rey Mysterio, also re-signing.

On Monday, December 18, it was reported that the Judgment Day member had signed a new deal with WWE, which was “said to have taken place a month or so back.”
Dominik Mysterio’s deal is also being reported as being a “five-year contract” according to one source.
Dave Meltzer also reported on Monday that Rey Mysterio has signed a new deal, though there were no further details of the deal.
Rey Mysterio is currently out of action with an injury, with his absence being worked into the LWO storyline.

Mysterio last competed at WWE Crown Jewel, losing the United States Championship to Logan Paul.
In November 2023, it was revealed that Mysterio is expected to miss around eight weeks of in-ring action.
Rey Mysterio was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the Class of 2023.

He made his return to WWE in 2018 having chosen not to renew his previous contract in 2015.
His departure in 2015 ended a nearly 13-year relationship with the company and saw him return to the independent wrestling scene.
Mysterio would go on to compete in AAA, NJPW and Lucha Underground during this time before making his WWE return for the 2018 Royal Rumble.
