A WWE star has commented on their 2024 Royal Rumble return, describing the “struggle” they underwent through their six month absence from the ring.

Last competing at the July 17 edition of WWE Raw, Liv Morgan made her long-awaited return to action at the 2024 Royal Rumble, entering at the cherished number 30 spot.
While she didn’t cap off her return with a Rumble win, the 29-year-old would finish as the runner-up overall for the second straight year, and even eliminated the debuting Jade Cargill.
The day after the Rumble (January 28), Morgan spoke with Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo and was asked about her return, to which she discussed the “struggle” of making her way back to the ring.

Morgan said:
“It’s been a journey, the last six months. It’s been a fight, it’s been a struggle.
To come back at the Royal Rumble, in the coveted 30 spot, I was very happy and I felt honored.
Just happy to be back, happy to be back doing what I love, doing my thing. Came really really close, but I am happy for Bayley nonetheless.”

The woman who last eliminated Morgan to win the 2024 Rumble match, Bayley has traded messages with WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley on social media ahead of their potential title match at WrestleMania; teasing the return of a special stipulation.
