World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has explained why he has a lasting connection with WWE fans ahead of WrestleMania.

Seth Rollins is one of WWE’s most accomplished and decorated in-ring performers. The World Heavyweight Champion has created a legacy for himself unlike anyone else.
Rollins is not only one of the company’s most popular babyfaces, but he has made a name for himself based on a litany of classic in-ring bouts.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Seth Rollins explained why he believes he has a lasting connection with WWE fans. He said:
“I like all the other stuff, but in the ring, that’s where the lasting connection is built with our audience,”
“It’s not something I take lightly. The guys I admire–Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero–they always won the audience over through their workhorse effort.”
“I was a fan of the catchphrases and everything else too, but what really gravitated me toward this industry was that physical, ethereal connection through the in-ring performance.”
“I’ve always taken pride in doing that to the best of my ability.”

On headlining WrestleMania 40 alongside icons of the industry like The Rock, Rollins said:
“I don’t feel out of place a bit. I’m not looking around starstruck. This is where I belong.”
Seth Rollins will compete on both nights of WrestleMania 40 this weekend. First, he will team with Cody Rhodes to face The Rock and Roman Reigns on WrestleMania Saturday, and Rollins will then defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre on WrestleMania Sunday.
