WWE delivered a star-studded show with time May 26 episode of WWE SmackDown.
One day ahead of WWE Night of Champions, Austin Theory defended the WWE United States Championship against Sheamus. Plus, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa appeared on the KO Show, and AJ Styles clashed with Karrion Kross.
The results are as follows:
WWE United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) vs. Sheamus (with Ridge Holland and Butch)
Sheamus and Theory lock up and feel each other out. The veteran drops Theory with a clothesline. Theory takes control and grounds Sheamus. The champion gets a two count with a blockbuster. Sheamus rallies and fires up with a flurry of offense.'
An Irish Curse and a powerslam give Sheamus more momentum. Theory goes to the outside and gets a chair, but the Brawling Brutes stop him from using it. Pretty Deadly attacks the Brawling Brutes. Sheamus gets involved, and Theory rolls up Sheamus for the win.
Winner and still WWE United States Championship: Austin Theory
Backstage, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline are in his locker room. Paul Heyman says Reigns feels guilty that The Usos won’t be there at WWE Night of Champions. He says they’re invited to the celebration of Reigns hitting 1,000 days next week. Jimmy Uso gets upset and tries to leave, but Reigns tells him to sit down. He doesn’t, and Reigns gets in his face. Reigns says nothing has changed; he whipped Jimmy when they were kids, and he’d whoop him again now. He tells Jimmy to obey him and acknowledge him. Jey pulls Jimmy away.
Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley & IYO SKY)
Rodriguez and Bayley start the match. They square off, and Shotzi quickly tags in. The two teams brawl, and Shotzi dives onto the Damage CTRL duo at ringside. Rodriguez and Shotzi double-team SKY. Bayley tags in and gains the upper hand. Damage CTRL isolates Raquel. Shotzi tags in and swings the momentum in her team’s favor. Bayley and SKY gang up on Shotzi. SKY rocks Shotzi with a kick. Shotzi dumps SKY with a suplex. Rodriguez tags in, but Bayley breaks up a double-team move. A miscommunication costs Damage CTRL the match, as Rodriguez rolls Bayley up for the win.
Winners: Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi

Cameron Grimes vs. Ashante “Thee” Adonis (with Hit Row)
Grimes quickly takes control and gets an early one count as he takes Adonis down. Top Dolla interferes and helps Adonis gain the upper hand. Grimes rallies and hits the Cave-In for the win.
Winner: Cameron Grimes
Grimes makes his way up the ramp and starts celebrating, but Baron Corbin blindsides him with an attack.
In-Ring Segment: Bianca Belair
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair comes to the ring and discusses her feud with Asuka. She says she respected Asuka ahead of WrestleMania 39, as Asuka just wanted the title. Now, Asuka wants more than the title. Belair makes it clear that she’ll give Asuka more than a fight, as she wants to fight Asuka. “The Empress of Tomorrow” attacks Belair from behind, and officials break it up. The brawl resumes, and Belair nearly hits the KOD, but the officials catch Asuka. Belair stands tall as Asuka gets away.
LA Knight vs. Rick Boogs
Before the bell, the Street Profits join the commentary team. Boogs sends Knight to the outside and follows him. Boogs slams Knight onto the commentary table. Back in the ring, Knight dodges a charging Boogs and sends him shoulder-first into the ring post. Knight grounds Boogs, who fires up and tosses Knight across the ring. Boogs showcases Knight with a gutwrench slam.
Knight rakes Booga in the eyes and hits the Blunt Force Trauma for the win.
Winner: LA Knight
After the bell, Knight targets the Street Profits and makes it clear that he’s coming for them.
In a promo, Karrion Kross sends a message to AJ Styles and says “The Phenomenal One” should be asking himself what kind of condition he’ll be in after their match.

AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross (with Scarlett)
Kross takes the fight to Style and overpowers him. Styles responds with a series of strikes. He catches Kross with a dropkick. Scarlett grabs Styles’ leg, and Kross capitalizes with a kick to the face. Michin comes out and evens the odds. She chases Scarlett to the back. Styles and Kross keep battling. Styles hits a clothesline in the corner and floors Kross with a kick. A backbreaker scores Styles a two count. Kross counters a DDT into a suplex. He rolls through and suplexes Styles again. Styles dodges the Kross Hammer and goes for the Styles Clash, but Kross evades it. Kross hits the Phenomenal Forearm for the win.
Winner: AJ Styles
Backstage, AJ Styles discusses his match with Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions and says he’s going to put a “phenomenal” beating on Rollins in order to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
In-Ring Segment: KO Show with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa
Owens and Zayn kick off the KO Show and call out Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Paul Heyman appears and says Reigns decides when he wants to come out. The Usos come to the ring. Owens says he wanted to talk to them all along. He tells them to admit that Zayn was right all along. Owens calls The Usos the heart of The Bloodline and says Reigns uses them. He says they went from the greatest tag team in WWE history to Reigns’ errand boys. Jimmy says he’s the tribal chief. Roman Reigns comes down and gets in his face. Zayn tells Reigns “it’s over”, as The Bloodline is collapsing. Reigns slaps the microphone out of Zayn’s hand. Owens drops Reigns with a Stunner. The two teams brawl. Solo Sikoa lays out Owens and Zayn. Reigns drops Zayn with a Spear. Jey gives one set of titles to Sikoa. Jimmy hesitates, looks at the titles, and Jey takes them so he can give them to Reigns. “The Tribal Chief”, Sikoa, and Jey stand tall, but Jimmy stands by himself in the corner.
