All Elite Wrestling delivered the latest episode of AEW Dynamite on May 31.

Just a few days removed from AEW Double or Nothing, some of AEW’s top stars competed on the show. Chris Jericho and Saraya clashed with Adam Cole and Britt Baker, while Kris Statlander defended the TBS Championship against Nyla Rose, Plus, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta of the Blackpool Combat Club faced the Lucha Bros and Bandido.
The results are as follows:

Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs. Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo) & Bandido (with Alex Abrahantes)
The two teams fight with each other, and the match spills out of the ring. Yuta slams Bandido into the barricade. Back in the ring, Yuta grounds Bandido and controls the action. Bandido hits a long stalling suplex, and the Lucha Bros lock in stereo arm bars. Fenix tags in and gains momentum with a series of strikes. Penta takes Castagnoli out with a backbreaker. Yuta evades a diving crossbody from Bandido. Castagnoli drops Bandido with a spike piledriver on the floor. The BCC isolates Bandido. Moxley continues to control the action by wrenching Bandido in a few submission holds. Bandido rallies with a corkscrew dive. Fenix tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. The Lucha Bros kick Yuta. Penta drops Moxley with a DDT. Bandido tags back in and trades blows with Yuta.
They keep battling, and Yuta bites Bandido. A pop-up cutter and a frog splash earns Bandido a two count as the Lucha Bros dive onto Moxley and Castagnoli. Bandido rocks Yuta with a knee. Moxley holds Yuta down to break up the 21-Plex, and Castagnoli drills Bandido with an uppercut. Yuta drills Bandido with a number of elbows and pins him with the seatbelt.

Alex Marvez interviews The Young Bucks and Hangman Page. Matt Jackson says the Blackpool Combat Club brought out the worst in them, as he tried to melt someone’s face off with an explosive sneaker. Nick Jackson says one setback won’t keep them down. Hangman says the Blackpool Combat Club uses the numbers game to their advantage. Dark Order comes over and somewhat rubs The Elite’s loss in their faces. They leave, and Alex Marvez says Kenny Omega has gone back to Canada. Hangman says Omega is out of the country, but he’s not in Canada. He then chases after the Dark Order trio.

In-Ring Segment: Jay White and Juice Robinson
White and Robinson are asked about attacking Ricky Starks at AEW Double or Nothing. White says Starks is not the AEW International Champion, as he lost the battle royale. Robinson brings up FTR and says they want to know why Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler got involved. Robinson says Starks doesn’t have any friends. White says FTR are slow, and they sound dumb. FTR interrupts. White and Robinson somewhat use Tony Schiavone as a human shield as they hide behind him. White says FTR must be there because they want to join Bullet Club. He asks them if they want to join. Robinson drops Harwood with a cheap shot using a handful of quarters.
Robinson and White attack FTR, and Juice drops Wheeler with a DDT. White floors Harwood with the Bladerunner, but Ricky Starks makes the save. Starks challenges White to a match next week.

Tony Khan announces that AEW Collision will feature CM Punk.

Swerve Strickland vs. Big Bill vs. Trent Beretta
Bill charges Swerve, who leaves the ring. Beretta dives onto Strickland at ringside. Beretta chops Bill, who drops Strickland with a boot. The powerhouse takes control and clotheslines Strickland out of the ring. They keep battling. Swerve gains the upper hand. Beretta and Swereve suplex Big Bill off the top rope. Bill slams Beretta for a two-count. Strickland goes for the Swerve Stomp, but Beretta moves and spikes him with a piledriver. Strickland takes Bill out with a Swerve Stomp. He gets the win with a crucifix pin on Beretta.

A video package highlights Kris Statlander’s return and win at AEW Double or Nothing.

Renee Paquette interviews The Acclaimed and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn. Max Caster says they win and lose together as a team. Bowens says they were screwed out of the titles at AEW Double or Nothing. Bowens says Gunn deserves to hold gold one more time. He tells Gunn they love him, and everyone loves The Acclaimed. 

In-Ring Segment: Don Callis and Komosuke Takeshita
Callis addresses betraying Kenny Omega. He says he’s the real victim, and he was responsible for Omega’s success. Callis says Omega chose his friends over him. He explains that Omega has destroyed his family, and while he might have lost a nephew, he gained a nephew. Callis calls Takeshita the best athlete he’s seen in wrestling, and he’s better than Inoki and Okada. He also says they’ll prove that Takeshita is better than Omega. Takeshita says they’re going to destroy The Elite, and they will destroy Omega. Callis says he’s going to build a new family, and they’re going to cut The Elite out of AEW.
A video package highlights Wardlow’s win over Christian Cage at AEW Double or Nothing. The TNT Champion seemingly challenges Luchasaurus to a match.

Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs. Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)
Bishop Kaun attacks Allin, and Liona takes the fight to Cassidy. Liona slams Cassidy and trucks over Allin. The Gates of Agony continue to control the action. Brian Cage, Swerve Strickland, and Prince Nana come to the stage to watch the match. Kaun repeatedly slams Allin into the barricade and the apron. Kiona and Liona keep dominating the opening minutes. They isolate Allin and keep him grounded. Allin rallies and tags Cassidy. The AEW International Champion fires up with a flurry of offense. He drops Kaun with a DDT. The Gates of Agony overpower Cassidy, but he takes them down with a double hurricanrana. Allin tags in and dives onto Liona at ringside.
Cassidy catches Kaun with a Stun-Dog Millionaire. Allin pins Kaun with the Code Red and the Coffin Drop.
Winners: Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin
Cage, Strickland, and Nana approach the ring, seemingly about to attack Cassidy and Allin, but Sting comes down and evens the odds. Sting, Allin, and Cassidy stand tall.

In a backstage promo following AEW Double or Nothing, AEW World Champion MJF comments on his win at AEW Double or Nothing. MJF says AEW is running out of competition, and nobody is on his level.

FTW Champion HOOK comes to the ring. He is asked about what’s next, and he is interrupted by Jose the Assistant, Preston Vance, and Dralistico of La Faccion Ingobernable. He says they dom’t get opportunities, so they’re going to take one. Jose tells Preston and Dralistico to attack HOOK. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry makes the save.

Backstage, Toni Storm brags about her title win and looks forward to defending the AEW Women’s World Championship at the House Rules events this weekend.

TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Nyla Rose
Statlander and Rose feel each other out early on. The champion dropkicks Rose. The challenger slams Statlander to the mat. Statlander dodges a senton. They try to suplex each other. Taya Valkyrie is shown watching backstage as Rose gains the upper hand. Statlander rallies and slams Rose for a two count. Rose hits a cannonball off the apron. Statlander gets the win with a 450 Splash.

The broadcast team runs through the cards for the next episodes of AEW Rampage and AEW Dynamite.

Adam Cole & Britt Baker vs. Chris Jericho & Saraya
Jericho and Cole trade chops. They go to the outside, and Jericho slams Cole into the barricade. Cole levels Jericho with a clothesline. Saraya tags in and squares off with Baker. The former AEW Women’s World Champion hits Saraya with a slingblade. Jericho interferes and helps Saraya take control. Jericho talks trash as Saraya continues to punish Baker. Ruby Sho and Toni Storm come down and attack Baker while the referee is distracted. Hikaru Shida attacks Soho and Storm. Cole takes the fight to Jericho and hits him with the same hammer fists that helped him get the win at AEW Double or Nothing.
Baker dives onto Jericho when he tries to shield Saraya. Cole goes for the Panama Sunrise, but Jericho counters it into the Walls of Jericho. Baker breaks it up and puts Jericho in the Lockjaw, but Saraya attacks her. Jericho drops Cole with the Codebreaker. Jericho goes to use a baseball bat, but Cole superkicks him and hits the Boom for the win.
