All Elite Wrestling presented an action-packed episode of AEW Rampage on June 2.

As confirmed during the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, Friday’s Rampage will see El Hijo del Vikingo put the AAA Mega Championship on the line against Komander and Dralistico.
Elsewhere on the show, Willow Nightingale will defend her NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship against Emi Sakura, and Zack Sabre Jr. will defend the NJPW World Television Championship against Action Andretti.
The AEW Rampage results are as follows:

Match 1 – El Hijo del Vikingo defeats Dralistico &and Komander via pinfall – AAA Mega Championship
In an opening match title bout, it was Vikingo who walked out with the win. All three superstars had brief chances to win but were foiled by one another. In the end, Vikingo was able to hit a big hurricanrana on Komander, before putting him through a table with a massive splash.
Dralistico tried to hit a powerbomb on him, but he countered it and quickly rolled up Komander for the pin and win.

Backstage segment – Jeff Jarrett
In a brief segment backstage, Jarrett was upset about the potential of being suspended for hitting Aubrey Edwards with a guitar at AEW’s Double or Nothing.
Instead, Mark Briscoe said that he worked out a deal with Tony Khan to avoid any suspension, but before anything else could be said, Edwards appeared and started a brawl with Jarrett.

Match 2 – Zack Sabre Jr. defeats Action Andretti via submission – NJPW World Television Championship
In another tital match, Sabre was able to counter Andretti late to come away with the win. After getting hit with a hurricanrana and kicking out of a pin following an Andretti moonsault, Sabre was able to catch Andretti’s arm in a vicious submission, forcing his opponent to tap out for the win.

Match 3 – Willow Nightingale defeats Emi Sakura via pinfall – NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship
Emi looked to have a good hold on the match early on, even dropping Nightingale with a big slam early, but Nightingale just wouldn’t give in.
Later in the match, Nightingale finally got the upper hand, dropping Sakura with a big throw into the corner before hitting a sit-out powerbomb on the superstar to pin and retain her title.

Match 4 – Katusyori Shibata defeats Lee Moriarty via pinfall – ROH Pure Championship
In the closing match of the night, Shibata gained the early upper hand with some quick attacks and attempts at a pin, but Lee was undeterred. After getting to the ropes multiple times, Moriarty finally began atacking Shibata, hitting him with some chops onto Shibata’s head and back. However, this wasn’t enough, as Shibata would then hit Lee with a nasty running dropkick into the corner.
After Moriarty attempted to get to the ropes one more time but may have used his final rope break, Shibata locked him in a sleeper hold, and then hit the PK to end things and retain his title.
Following the match, Daniel Garcia confronted Shibata, signaling a potential challenge for the belt Garcia wants back.
