All Elite Wrestling delivered a star-studded show with the November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Orange Cassidy defended the AEW International Championship against Claudio Castagnoli. Plus, Willow Nightingale challenged Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship, among other matches. Additionally, Tony Khan had an important announcement.
The results are as follows:
Renee Paquette was backstage. AEW World Champion MJF joined her, and she asked him about his partners for tonight. He pulls out a list of the roster and says he wants some advice from Adam Cole, who appears on a video screen. Cole says he wants to be there, as MJF has a lot of people coming for him. He encourages MJF to consider MJF’s offer. MJF walks away, as he has to focus on his match tonight. Roderick Strong, alongside Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, roll up. Strong playfully accuses Cole of being The Devil, who hacks into the feed and appears.
AEW International Champion: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli (with Wheeler Yuta)
Cassidy takes the fight to Castagnoli, who slams him to the mat. Castagnoli grounds Cassidy and overpowers him with some stiff strikes. He drops the champion with a backbreaker and maintains the advantage. Castagnoli trucks over Cassidy with a lariat at ringside. Cassidy slams him into the ring post. Castagnoli presses Cassidy and sends him into the barricade at ringside. HOOK comes out and gets in Yuta’s face. They both get ejected from ringside. Castagnoli hits a stalling suplex off the top rope.
Cassidy fires up with some chops and gets slammed onto the apron. Castagnoli continues to ground Cassidy. The cameras show HOOK and Wheeler Yuta arguing backstage. Cassidy sends Castagnoli shoulder-first into the ring post. He hits a diving DDT through the ropes and onto the floor. Castagnoli traps Cassidy in the Swing and transitions to a Scorpion Death Lock. He shifts into a crossface. Castagnoli gets a two-count with an uppercut. He chokes Cassidy in a sleeper, but the champion rallies. He nails Castagnoli with an Orange Punch and the Beach Break.
Castagnoli rolls to the outside. He gets back in the ring. Cassidy stomps on him. Castagnoli reverses an Orange Punch, and Cassidy drops him with a DDT. Cassidy stacks Castagnoli up and gets the three count.

Jon Moxley comes out and brawls with Cassidy. Moxley gains the upper hand and attacks security guards.
MJF knocks on Kenny Omega’s door. Chris Jericho answers and closes the door in his face. Wardlow confronts MJF, presses him against the wall, and says he’ll take everything from MJF when he least suspects it. MJF walks by The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Max Caster asks MJF to team with them, and he walks away.
Backstage, Jon Moxley says Orange Cassidy picked up the scraps when he won the AEW International Championship. He says he’s sick of Cassidy, and he challenges Cassidy to a match at AEW Full Gear.
ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) & Hangman Adam Page (c) vs. Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)
Page and Kaun start the bout. Hangman gains the upper hand. The champions isolate Kaun and gang up on him. The challengers take control and ground Matt Jackson. Page makes the hot tag and clears house with a flurry of offense. Swerve Strickland comes to the stage and gets Page’s attention by reminding him that he invaded his house last week. Page runs to the back to chase him, leaving the match in the process. The challengers use their numbers advantage and slam Matt. They overwhelm Nick Jackson and slam him for the win.
Winners and new ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Mogul Embassy
Officials separate Page and Strickland backstage. Back at ringside, Matt slams a table and hits a ring post with a chair, clearly frustrated with the loss.
Backstage, MJF continues to look for a partner. He draws on Darby Allin’s sign on his locker room. MJF bumps into The Acclaimed again, and he ignores them.
In-Ring Segment: Adam Copeland
Adam Copeland puts over Tony Schiavone, who introduced him to the ring. He looks back on his history with Sting and says he respects him. Copeland also says he respects Darby Allin and says he’s one of the lynchpins of this company. He brings up the question of whether he will team with them at AEW Full Gear. TNT Champion Christian Cage, alongside Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne, interrupts. Cage says he’s going to retire Sting at AEW Full Gear and notes that Darby Allin has had a “gimp arm” recently.
Cage calls out Copeland’s neck problems and says he would hate for this fairytale to turn into a nightmare. He tells Copeland to back down. Cage says he will snap Copeland’s neck if he doesn’t back down. Copeland brawls with Cage, Wayne, and Luchasaurus. The big man attacks Copeland from behind. They gang up on the legend. Cage tells Wayne to get a chair. He sets up a Con-Cahr-To, but Sting makes the save. Allin comes out and joins the fight. Copeland drops Cage with a Spear. He says he’s going to beat his ass. Copeland agrees to team with Allin and Sting at AEW Full Gear.
Backstage, Tony Khan highlights AEW’s successful year, especially AEW All In. He says he can’t think of a better gift for the holiday season than a ticket to AEW All In 2024. Khan says fans can sign up for tickets now. The event will be on August 25.
Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega vs. Matt Menard & Angelo Parker (with Jake Hager)
Parker and Menard take control with a cheap shot. Jericho fights back and takes control. Parker and Menard gain the upper hand and ground Omega. Jericho makes the hot tag and clears house with a flurry of offense. Jericho sends Menard crashing to the floor with a dropkick. He gets a two-count with the Codebreaker. Omega fires up and dives onto Hager at ringside. Jericho gets hit with a bat, and Parker goes for the pun, but Jericho kicks out.
Jericho dodges a bat shot and hits the Judas Effect for the win.

Don Callis and the Don Callis Family come down the ramp. Callis challenges Omega and Jericho to face the faction in a street fight in two weeks. Omega says they’ll team up with Kota Ibushi. Callis notes they’re still a man short, and Jericho again says that he has a big friend, who is revealed to be Paul Wight. Wight drops Kyle Fletcher with a punch.
Backstage, Chris Jericho hypes up the street fight where he will team with Paul Wight and Kota Ibushi. The Young Bucks interrupt and question the point of The Elite getting back together if they don’t help each other. Matt Jackson calls Jericho a prick. Tensions rise, and Omega says Jericho is aligned with them. Matt says Jericho will turn on Omega, and they walk away.
AEW Women’s World Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Willow Nightingale
Shida and Nightingale lock up and feel each other out. They’re evenly matched early on. Willow gains momentum, but Shida sends her to the outside. Shida dives onto Willow at ringside. The champion controls the action. The two stars trade blows. Nightingale hits a dropkick from the second rope. Shida responds with one of her own. The champion hits an avalanche Falcon Arrow.
Nightingale hits a Pounce and a Death Valley Driver for a two count. Willow drills Shida with a lariat. Shida gets a two-count with a crucifix. She blasts Willow with a knee strike. She hits the Katana for the win.

Nightingale and Shida shake hands. Toni Storm comes to the stage. Shida attacks her, and Storm runs to the back. The lights go out, and Julia Hart is in the ring when they come on. She extends her hand to Nightingale. Skye Blue comes in and squares off with Hart. Blue spits blue mist in Hart’s face.
The Acclaimed approach MJF again. He turns them down, and Jeff Jarrett and his faction try to recruit MJF.
Roderick Strong and The Kingdom call Adam Cole. Strong gets upset that MJF didn’t ask them to team up and calls him up. Cole tells Strong to shut up.
Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson & The Gunns) vs. MJF & TBA
The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn are revealed as MJF’s partners. MJF comes out wearing a pink scarf and a “Scissor Me” shirt. MJF and Juice Robinson start the bout. White tags in, but he tags out quickly. Bowens enters the match and takes control. Billy Gunn tags in and takes control. He drops White with a stiff shot. MJF enters the bout, and White heads to the outside. MJF refuses to scissor with The Acclaimed. Bullet Club Gold takes control during a commercial.
White grounds Bowens, and the group isolates him. Gunn and Bowens double-team Austin Gunn. The Acclaimed hit Colten with Scissor Me Timbers. Bullet Club Gold stops MJF from scissoring with The Acclaimed. Colten stomps Caster in the corner. White maintains the advantage. MJF makes the hot tag and clears house. He takes the fight to Bullet Club Gold. MJF chases Jay White around ringside. The Gunns drop MJF with a chop block. The champion hits the Kangaroo Kick. White sneaks up behind MJF and hits the Bladerunner for the win.

The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn save MJF when Bullet Club Gold attacks him. White goes to hit MJF with the title. Caster shoves MJF out of the way and takes the hit. MJF checks on Caster as Bullet Club Gold escapes. Caster holds up a hand, hoping to scissor. MJF refuses. Gunn yells at MJF. MJF finally scissors The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.
