Cody Rhodes made an appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect back at WWE Payback, where he made a big announcement about the future of Monday Night Raw.

Cody announced that Jey Uso was the newest member of the Raw roster, joining the red brand after he ‘quit’ SmackDown and WWE following SummerSlam.
On this week’s Raw show, it was announced that Jey’s move to the brand would be in exchange for a star from Raw being moved over to SmackDown in return.
There has been a lot of speculation on which Raw star will move over to SmackDown, with many believing it will ultimately end up being Cody Rhodes, who moves to SmackDown in time to face off against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
However, current SmackDown star Grayson Waller appeared on WWE After the Bell, where he said that he is worried about it being Cody who moves over to the brand, as he will try and overshadow him on SmackDown.

He said:
“Yeah, it kinda worries me who they’re gonna bring over. I’m worried it’s going to be Cody.
“You wanna talk about someone who gonna try and overshadow me, he tried to do it on my show Saturday. I’m polite enough to let him on my show, he’s making these jokes about hip toss class and skull and yes, I enjoyed skill with Terry Taylor, okay Cody? You don’t have to mention it in front of everyone.
“I’m hoping it someone, for me personally, I would love it to be Indi Hartwell, bring an Australian over. Maybe Bronson Reed, make SmackDown the Australian show with all of the big name Australians. We don’t need Cody, we don’t need these guys trying to over shadow us, we need people who are going to take that torch.”

Grayson Waller picked up his first WWE main roster win on last week’s SmackDown, when he and Austin Theory defeated Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar.
