With Pat McAfee joining Michael Cole on WWE Raw’s commentary team, the make up of the SmackDown team has now been revealed.

The release of Kevin Patrick had left a hole in the blue brand’s commentary team that was filled by Cole alongside Corey Graves.
In a new report on PW Insider Elite, it’s being reported that Cole and McAfee will be a regular fixture on WWE Raw.
SmackDown’s commentary team will be Wade Barrett, formerly WWE Raw commentator, and Corey Graves.

Per the PW Insider Elite report, “several different sources” have confirmed the plan with Graves serving as lead announcer and Barrett continuing to deliver color commentary.
Barrett returned to WWE in August 2020, initially as a member of the NXT commentary team under a one-year deal.
In October 2022, WWE moved Barrett to color commentary on WWE SmackDown alongside Michael Cole, shuffling him to Raw in August 2023.

Michael Cole is the Vice President of Announcing in WWE and has served in that role since 2020.
Kevin Patrick joined WWE in March 2021, first as a backstage interviewer, but since October 2022 he’d had stints as lead announcer for both Raw and SmackDown.
