The World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line when WWE SmackDown rolls into Brooklyn on October 25.
The match will see GUNTHER defend the championship against Damian Priest and was confirmed to be taking place on the WWE website.
It will most likely be a dark match solely for the live crowd in attendance at Barclays Center, as opposed to taking place on the SmackDown TV episode itself.
The pair faced off at SummerSlam in August with GUNTHER defeating Priest to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
Highlights from that match can be seen below this news story with the pair having subsequent matches on the WWE SuperShow Summer Tour and a dark match on the September 13 episode of SmackDown.
Also advertised for the October 25 episode of WWE SmackDown are Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair.
Bayley and #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) are also promoted for the upcoming show.
With WWE Raw seeing Sami Zayn currently attempting to face GUNTHER, it was recently reported that the pair may face off at Bad Blood on October 5.
