The Rock has addressed his recent confrontation with Cody Rhodes at the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kick-Off event.

Following almost an entire week of fan uproar, we found out that Cody Rhodes would indeed be challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40.
However, it was not just that announcement that would make headlines following the event in Las Vegas.
After Rhodes challenged Reigns, he would make a remark saying that the ancestors of both the Tribal Chief and The Rock would be ashamed of them, leading to a tense confrontation between The American Nightmare and The People’s Champion.

This ultimately led to Rock slapping Rhodes in the face and a brawl almost breaking out in front of the fans in the T-Mobile Arena.
Now, in a new post on Instagram, Rock would address the tense encounter, while also teasing an exciting Road to WrestleMania ahead.

Rock said:

The Rock’s next WWE appearance has now been confirmed, with The People’s Champion set to appear alongside Roman Reigns on the February 16 edition of SmackDown.
Despite The Rock’s excitement for his WWE return, he was recently forced to make a tweet out of character to address some ‘toxic’ and ‘false’ claims regarding his appearance at the WrestleMania 40 Kick-Off.
