As WWE prepares for WrestleMania 40, it seems the foundation for a singles match between Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso continues to be laid.

In the main event of tonight’s February 19 WWE Raw, GUNTHER looked to defend his historic Intercontinental Championship reign against Jey Uso.
Just as Jey had delivered three spears and a big splash from the top rope and was attempting the pin, instead the bell began ringing repeatedly to signal the end of the match even though the referee was only midway through counting.

It was then that the rogue bell ringer was revealed to be a hooded Jimmy Uso as he battled his way over the barricade.
The distraction allowed GUNTHER to take advantage, and after Jey had dived onto Jimmy on the outside, GUNTHER caught Jey on another big splash attempt and managed to reverse into a quick pinfall victory and get out of the ring.

Jimmy Uso had yet again cost Jey Uso a singles title match as Jimmy knocked Jey out and stood over him to end the show.
Telling Jey that no matter how big he gets, Jimmy will always be the big brother, he then delivered his own splash on Jey after mocking him from the top rope and then ANOTHER splash as the show went off the air.

This is of course the second time Jimmy has cost Jey in a singles title match, the previous one being at SummerSlam against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Earlier in the night, Jimmy and Solo Sikoa had both appeared to cost Cody Rhodes a match against Drew McIntyre.
