WWE have confirmed that Survivor Series 2023 will once again host the WarGames stipulation for the second year running.

During WWE Crown Jewel 2023 an advert aired for the company’s next Premium Live Event, Survivor Series on November 25.
The ad in question quelled any lingering doubts that WarGames would not feature as a staple of the event going forward as the structure was confirmed to be returning.
Showing highlights of past iterations of the match from both last year and a few from NXT, many stars were featured such as Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre and Becky Lynch.
While no details were confirmed in regards to what expect from the matches themselves its worth noting that given the presence of both male and female talent in the ad, one would expect that this year, much like 2022’s iteration, there will be a mens and women’s version of WarGames once again.

Another interesting note is the logo of Survivor Series itself.
Last year the event did not feature the traditional Raw vs SmackDown matches that had become commonplace since 2016.
This change was reflected in the logo which did not feature the red and blue outline and instead saw the use of camouflage colouring.

However, in the advert for Survivor Series 2023, the red and blue logo has in fact returned, perhaps suggesting that we could once again see brand warfare become the theme of the event.
This has been hinted at in recent weeks of WWE TV, with tensions rising between Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown’s Nick Aldis.
Despite this, the latest reports had suggested that Raw vs SmackDown would not be the focus of the WarGames matches themselves.

More details on what to expect at Survivor Series are sure to be expected on WWE TV in the days and weeks to come but stay tuned to JJA Sport Studio for any updates.
