Santos Escobar has now commented on his upcoming Survivor Series match, after recently attacking his mentor Rey Mysterio.

After injuring Mysterio on the November 10 edition of SmackDown, Escobar made an appearance on the November 17 show and had confrontations with Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Zelina Vega.
During this segment, Escobar said that Rey Mysterio siding with ‘the outsider’ Carlito contributed to his decision to turn his back on the LWO.
It was later announced that Escobar and Carlito will face off at the upcoming Survivor Series premium live event.

In a post-show WWE digital exclusive interview, Escobar reacted to the announcement, noting:
“I can’t wait. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a while. But I have news for you. Good luck having Carlito on time. Make sure he know what day it is.”

Commenting on his SmackDown segment, Escobar said:
“I’m a grown man. I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. What I said was that I hope he never comes back.
“How would you feel if your mentor, the person you respect the most, betrayed you and chose someone like Carlito? How would you feel about that?
“I’m not angry. I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed in every single lesson in this arena and at home. Did you hear that? They have the nerve to boo me. Boo me? I was betrayed by all of them.
“I thought I had a family. Family’s everything to me. I thought I had a family. They’re gone. I’m by myself right from now on.”

The women’s WarGames lineup for Survivor Series was also officially revealed on SmackDown, which you can read more about right here.
