Randy Orton will keep an impressive WWE streak alive when he competes at Saturday’s Survivor Series WarGames event.

The former WWE Champion will wrestle for the first time in 18 months at this weekend’s premium live event.
The Viper doesn’t have an easy return match lined up, with Orton to team with Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn to battle Damian Priest, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio and Drew McIntyre in a WarGames match.
This bout will be special for an additional reason, with it being Orton’s first bout of 2023.

Once Orton enters the match, he will have extended his streak of wrestling at least one WWE match every year since his main roster debut.
Orton made his WWE main roster debut in early 2002. Including that year, Orton wrestled every year up to 2022, with his most recent bout seeing him and Matt Riddle lose to The Usos in May 2022.
Saturday’s WarGames match will make it so that 2023 is the 22nd calendar during which Orton has wrestled for WWE, if you include his 2002 debut year in the tally.

John Cena holds a similar record, also wrestling in every calendar year since 2002, however Orton has remained a full-time WWE star, while Cena is currently pursuing a Hollywood career.
Five matches have been confirmed for Saturday’s Survivor Series event, including two WarGames matches.
