An interesting name has been spotted backstage at WWE Survivor Series 2023 tonight in Chicago, Illinois.
Minutes before tonight’s show goes on the air, news has come out of a noteworthy presence backstage.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Stephanie McMahon has been spotted backstage at WWE Survivor Series 2023.
After McMahon stepped down from her role in the company in January, she was spotted at WrestleMania weekend in April, but not often other than that.
The report states that McMahon does not appear to be in attendance in a working capacity, rather has just been visiting and hanging out.
Still to come on tonight’s WWE premium live event, Survivor Series WarGames 2023, two big WarGames matches with one set to kick off the show.
The Women’s WarGames match will start off the night with the team of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair and Shotzi set to take on the Damage CTRL team of Bayley, IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane.
Kairi Sane recently made her return to WWE, coming to the aid of IYO SKY at Crown Jewel to help SKY retain her WWE Women’s Championship against Belair.
Also tonight, Gunther defends the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz, and Rhea Ripley defends the Women’s World Championship against Zoey Stark.
In a non-title match, Santos Escobar vs Carlito has been changed to Escobar vs Dragon Lee.
