A WWE star has commented on the possibility of AJ Lee potentially returning to the company at the 2024 Royal Rumble.

With her husband CM Punk making his unlikely return to the company at Survivor Series, many fans have wondered if former two-time WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee could potentially follow suit.
Considering Punk’s first televised WWE match in a decade will be the men’s Rumble match, the women’s Rumble would seemingly make for a poetic way for Lee to make her return also.
While it seems unlikely this will actually happen, that’s not going to prevent members of the female WWE roster from holding out some hope.

Speaking with Wrestlingnews.co’s Steve Fall, Raw star Ivy Nile shared her thoughts on potentially seeing Lee show up on January 27, saying a return to WWE “makes sense” for Lee:
“It would be really cool to see AJ Lee show up. I mean, gosh, it just makes sense, but we’ll see.”

Although Nile will presumably be entering the women’s Rumble, she was also asked who she believes will come out victorious in the men’s match, to which she answered:
“I gotta say Cody Rhodes. It’s gotta be him.”

Cody recently found himself with some allies within the Diamond Mine faction as The Creed Brothers came to The American Nightmare’s aid during his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura.
Nile will be in action on tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw (January 22), taking on Valhalla in singles action; while Cody Rhodes will be meeting face-to-face with CM Punk for the first time in a WWE ring since Punk returned to the company.
