Rhea Ripley’s WrestleMania 40 challenger (providing she retains against Nia Jax) has been determined at WWE Elimination Chamber.

The opening match of the main Elimination Chamber show in Perth was the women’s Chamber match between Liv Morgan, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Raquel Rodriguez and Tiffany Stratton.
The two women starting the match for the opening few minutes were Becky Lynch and Naomi, but neither was eliminated before Tiffany Stratton entered.
It’s worth mentioning that Stratton was very over with the crowd tonight, just like she was at the press event on Thursday.
Stratton was impressive, but again, no eliminations before the fourth entrant, Liv Morgan came in.

It was in this section of the match that Stratton did score the first elimination, pinning Naomi before Raquel Rodriguez entered.
The idea here was the other three women trying to work together to eliminate Rodriguez, but it didn’t work before the final entrant, Bianca Belair came in.
It was a while before the next elimination but shortly after a diving swanton from Tiffany Stratton off the top of a pod onto Lynch, Rodriguez and Belair, she was eliminated by Morgan which got “bulls**t” chants from the crowd who weren’t happy to see Stratton out.

Next out was Rodriguez who was pinned by Belair after a KOD, leaving the final three as Belair, Lynch and Morgan.
The three-way situation went a good few minutes before two very quick back-to-back pinfalls as Morgan rolled up Belair, but walked straight into a Manhandle Slam from Lynch who pinned Morgan to pick up the win.
So as things stand, and most likely will stay the case, Rhea Ripley will defend the Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40.

Of course, Ripley defends against Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber today, but it would be a very big shock if Jax wins.
We’ll continue to keep you posted with news throughout Elimination Chamber, which includes a men’s Chamber match to determine Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship.
